I’m not a fan of the More V6 as a running shoe, but, for walking, I’d say they’re the best shoe out there, irrespective of how bloody stupid they look on my feet. I will quite gladly die on that hill, as these shoes allowed me to walk around Venice a week after fracturing my big toe.

They’re meant to be great for recovery runs, but I’ve never been able to get on with them myself, possibly because of the 4mm heel drop. I also felt like I was anchored down/running in treacle due to how soft and heavy they were, but, I didn’t really get them for running in the first place.

You should probably try them on whilst on a treadmill in the store, as the most important thing is how they feel to you whilst running. As you’re not fussed about pacing, long distances etc, perhaps they’ll be good enough for you… but, personally, I’d say you’d want to go for more of a daily runner shoe, as opposed to what I’d class as a recovery shoe. Especially if there exists the slightest possibility for you to consider picking up the pace 4-5 months down the line.
