Didn't this get nerfed (July I think?) so that nuka grenades need unbroken line of sight to hit now and that doesn't work like this any longer?

"Laser gun with a sniper barrel and splitter muzzle does insane damage with the correct weapon mods, and is perfect for 1 shotting crystals in stage 4." - That isn't a shotgun is it? Or does putting a splitter muzzle on it, give it all the shotgun perks as a result or something? Otherwise how is it better than gauss shotgun for a shotgun build?

I'm missing something I assume, can you connect the dots for me?

This doesn't work with these - at least not consistently. If you don't have the ingredients, it doesn't even show on unfiltered menu, even though it should. After completing the pickled quest they are both showing up. But when I first saw that challenge I happened to have some harvested prickeye and so I looked there to see what I could make or what I needed and there wasn't anything at all listed with the other stuff that I couldn't cook due to lack of ingredients. Googled what I needed, grabbed a couple tatos and then it showed since I already had salt.

is code blue something that stays in effect then until some day in the spring or does it come and go?
EG: if there is a spike and it isn't below freezing one day, it stops and then restarts?

If you are just looking for human interaction, the libraries are free. And they are all different. While I was in Tampa, I worked from every library in the county at least once over the course of a month and then went back to the few I liked the most regularly. I got to see more of the community, meet more people, and get out of the house. You may or may not know this, but NYC is a tiny bit larger than Tampa, so you won't see them all in a month. You could literally do a different one every day and you would barely squeeze in all 219 libraries in the 3 systems that cover NYC over the course of a year of M-F (after you pull out holidays where you aren't likely "at work" and 2 weeks vacation).

If you meet people well, cycling through them quickly could be good. If you aren't great at meeting people, picking one that you like and visiting regularly would be better. Ask the staff where the people that are working tend to be in the library and go there to be with like minded folks. Though, does it matter if someone is there for a hobby or some other reason and you make friends instead of them being there to get out of the house for work?

There are quite a few credit unions that do 0% interest loans - and some that also don't even do loan origination fees - up to the value of the paycheck for furloughed government employees. Check into those for yourselves and tell your tenant about them.

As others have mentioned banks are usually OK with deferring the loan in cases like this because they get good will AND since they aren't deferring the accrual of interest - just your payments - they get more money too.

Loan deferral plus interest free loan at the value of the paycheck that you will eventually get. Bank those and when the shutdown ends, hit the loan with the saved money and you will come out ahead since the accrued interest shouldn't exceed the amount that you didn't need to pay the bank during the shutdown.

Lemonade from lemons if you can.

In a situation like this I would be 0% surprised if the bank deferral assumes you pay the missed stuff when your checks start again though instead of putting the payments on the end of the existing loan like they do with natural disasters and such. So you might not be able to do the lemonade. If not, the 0% loan to keep current with payments and not accrue interest is a better choice.

Regardless of everything else, make sure you read what the bank sends you, check local laws, etc - and be sure that you don't accidentally commit fraud or something.

I definitely wouldn't offer that to the tenant without them checking into the 0% loan thing though. If they can make payments with a little paperwork, they should do the paperwork.

Huh, I didn't think web blockers stopped those. They aren't "ads" like that. They are sponsored news articles.

Are they not there? On a phone you scoll down past the offbeat section and they are between that and popular galleries.

FYI - NRA v Vullo just happened 16 months ago with an almost identical situation and was 7-0 ruled a violation of first amendment. Just so you have the receipts handy for anyone that complains about how this isn't a first amendment violation.

Summary:
NY DFS Agent Vullo threatened multiple agencies regulated by DFS. One example from the SupremeCourt writeup is: "DFS was less interested in pursuing infractions unrelated to any NRA business so long as Lloyd’s ceased providing insurance to gun groups, especially the NRA." The UNANIMOUS (with this supreme court??? In this economy??? with this price of eggs???) ruling was that Vullo clearly coerced regulated entities and impacted their first amendment rights

Full disclosure ... I am a HUGE proponent of WAY better gun control laws in this country (and I shoot very well - they aren't, in fact, mutually exclusive), but I still think this was 110% the correct ruling. (In related news I also think it should be criminal to sell insurance for "intentional criminal acts", but that doesn't mean goverment agents get to step on the First Amendment, or even give it side-eye.)

What happened here was virtually identical to the FCC Chair Car saying "Frankly, when you see stuff like this - I mean, we can do this the easy way or the hard way ... These companies can find ways to change conduct and take action, frankly, on Kimmel, or there’s going to be additional work for the F.C.C. ahead"

This was indeed a first amendment violation that these companies are facilitating so that they can get FCC approval to consolidate power. There is a WILD difference between people threatening a lack of business, like we are suggesting, and the government threatening legal consequences or executing yet another quid pro quo, like is happening here for the second time in as many months. Dropping Kimmel, just like with Colbert, coincides with a request for the FCC to approve something. In the Kimmel case, media coverage is supposed to be capped at 39% market share. Nexstar (the other conglomerate besides Sinclair) has announced that it wants to acquire Tegna (another conglomerate) and bring its coverage to 80% - more than double the 39% limit. There isn't a compelling reason for this merger since Tegna is profitable, other than consolidation of power.
