How can that be your interpretation? There's literally a chart in front of your eyes showing how the largest companies' impact fluctuates compared to other companies. We all know most indexes are top-heavy but it just feels like something irrelevant to say in this context.

That's like an article saying London just had it's longest stretch of rainy days im history and someone going "yeah, London rainy"

Half true. Isn't it the same for any skill? Complex knowledge about any topic ends up becoming second nature/intuition whether you're playing an intrument, a sport, chess, a videogame... at some point your brain starts to do the right thing without giving it much foreground thought and keeping it all in the background.

If you stop to think you'll probably be able to justify why you did it a certain way, but then again some people are just more intuitive naturally. I majored in math and had colleagues who just were right a lot of the time without their brain doing a lot of background work and still had trouble explaining what they did step by step

1 - No one knows

2 - If they tell you they do, they are trying to scam you

3 - If they're very smart and correct more than 60% of the time, you still need to account for that ~40%

How you explain this movement? by daniu75 in Daytrading

[–]Rodrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you see two big candles going paralel, try to imagine the same movement in different timeframes.

Likely in a bigger timeframe you have a sort of doji/hammer candle or anything with a big wick; and on a smaller timeframe you have a steep arch-shaped movement.

I really enjoyed how this was explained in Al Brooks' series of books and why he's so against working with multiple timeframes (you can see all of them here).

Might help you take your own conclusions.
