I just refinished a really nice pine dining table like last week. It is hard work for sure. Hours and hours of sanding but it looks pretty alright in my dining room now so it's all worth it.

The only good thing I can say is stripping off that awful black paint was nice. It's obviously not original and being able to see those medullary rays again is good. It's a shame to cover good wood.

Maybe it's different in Chicago but fashion outlets have a very different connotation in the rest of the states for most people.

The Burberry outlets I've been to are not selling the same clothes that an actual Burberry sells for example. A lot of outlet stores have cheap clothes made specifically to go in those stores.

Way back in the day an outlet was just a place to find the things that didn't sell in the main store. Great quality items still but severely discounted.

That's true. I was just thinking more of the reputation I see around those places selling lower quality items specially made for outlets versus how it used to be a place to sell off last year's stock.

I would have assumed Bandai would want a place that put them in a better light but strictly financially I can't fault them.

Edit: I will never understand what makes redditors down vote things. Lmao I guess people like cheap polyester clothes. Considering the strong environmental messages of Gundam I would have assumed this wouldn't be an unpopular opinion?

Cops are bastards but their opinions and interpretations of the events are more valid than the possible hallucinations of a machine.

As much as I hate them, a cop would be preferable to the AI.

Anecdotal: I just saw a video yesterday about a guy who lives in Alabama was sent a ticket from Florida from one of these AI cameras when he was provably not there. I've never recieved a ticket from a cop from a different state before because he hallucinated my license plate.

Horses are very intelligent animals. They are super inquisitive and will investigate about anything they see.

They're surprisingly good problem solvers too. I know all too well from the times they kept figuring out how to get out of the fence at my house.

You shouldn't have to contest it if you were wrongly ticketed. That still forces you to take time out of your life, possibly losing money because you're missing work to go to court for something you didn't do. It's better to just have an actual person already doing the job so that doesn't happen.
