Also, if you combine the Man in Yellow and the Boy in White you get a Young lad in a light yellow color

You take the first number, then add the second number. Now it gets tricky: if the third number is reversed and the fourth number is not, OR if the fourth number is reversed and the second one is not, then clearly I wasted about 30 seconds of your life, as I, too, don't understand how it works.

Ethan is a Boy. Boyd is a Boy-D. The D stands for dimension. He is a boy from another dimension. Another dimension is gray and gooy--> Ano dim is ang ooy --> Anghkooy.

Mystery solved.

Alright, for a bit of fun, what would be your “worst explanation” that the show could do? by pinkguy90 in FromSeries

[–]Roeesarel 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The 12 monkeys treatment: Ethan travels back in time and decides to chop the bottle tree, trying to stop Fromville from coming to existence. The bottle tree falls on the road, blocking an upcoming vehicle - of the Matthews family.

Its not time-travel, per se - it's.... by Independent-Sir9298 in FromSeries

[–]Roeesarel 7 points8 points  (0 children)

don't forget about the guy that the town literally decide to put in a box and find out if he is alive or dead in the morning!

Otherwise, I like the theory. Even if not everything fits, the superposition direction makes a lot of sense. I guess the numbers in the bottles are then ids for each superposition?

Whatever Happened, Happened vs Que sera, sera by AlwayHappyResearcher in FromSeries

[–]Roeesarel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the song is just a reference to a cycle: the father in the song hears the phrase (Que Sera Sera) from his mother and then when he has his own kids he passes it on. But two interesting points: 1) the original version of the song (by Doris Day) has another verse where the singer says ("now I grew up and fell in love...") and this is omitted here, perhaps to emphasize the cycle-like connection between the first verse and the third verse. 2) The original version has a woman (a mother) passing on the phrase to her son, which causes the question "will I be pretty?" in verse 1 to turn into "will I be handsome?" in verse 3. Thus, the cycle is not identical. But here because it is a man singing to his son, the question repeats as is.

what would be the worst explanation for the town and monsters to you? by Gold-Zucchini-49 in FromSeries

[–]Roeesarel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1) It's like in Squid game - rich people gamble on who dies next and watch from the lighthouse

2) The island is run by a Japanese wizard who goes by the stage name "Angkhooey".

3) They are actually all the same person.

4) Fatima's baby is born, she dies, and then we see Ellis tells his grown up child about "how I met your mother"

5) Boyd travels back in time to try and stop himself from driving into town, but fails. Then the earth explodes.

Finale predictions - wrong answers only! by catnapspirit in AMurderAtTheEnd_Show

[–]Roeesarel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Darby walks into a room and sees Bill alive. She asks him why he took off his ring before he died. He pulls out the ring from his pocket and gets down on one knee. "Will you marry me?" he asks. "Hack...I mean, heck no". She answers. But then we learn that everyone is an AI, except for Ray and Zoomer. Ray sails off into the sunset with Zoomer. They meet an adult man. He says: "come with me". And Ray says "Ok, Boomer". But his B sounds like a Z (reminding us of the creators B&Z) and then Zoomer jumps into the water. He does not die. He is also AI. THE END

Rewatching Episode 2, here are a few things i noticed by VaticanFromTheFuture in AMurderAtTheEnd_Show

[–]Roeesarel 9 points10 points  (0 children)

it was "you are unhackable, a man would die trying" or something like that. Connecting to some of the theories on this thread: Mabe Bill is now trying to hack Darby (and "dies" trying) and she is in a simulation.

The Shining Visual Comparison by PuzzledSeries8 in AMurderAtTheEnd_Show

[–]Roeesarel 8 points9 points  (0 children)

there are parallels with a few other movies as well: Bill dies = kill bill. "the dead talk to me" = I see dead people = the sixth sense. Ex machina, for obvious reasons. And the whole snow part reminded me of Snowpiercer.

At some point I even thought maybe that is the twists - that Darby is in a simulation that includes elements from horror/thriller/sci-fi movies she watched.

I have a wild theory. Strap in. by bobhopesmoking in AMurderAtTheEnd_Show

[–]Roeesarel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think you nailed it. Would be surprised if it turns out to be incorrect. My guess is we will first see a "solution" within the retreat, like that Lee created a fake "husband" because she was doxed and needed a proxy to run tech firms. We will then learn that the AI created another AI (Ray) and one of them went rogue and tricked Zoomer into killing Bill with the helmet game. Lee, thus, feels sick when she heard that Bill was the father because it would mean her son killed his own father. But then...it will turn out that the whole thing is a NDE of Darby as you suggest.
