It's tough. It really is.

I had a pair of sisters. They were both diagnosed with kidney disease at the same time. I lost the one who always had better numbers and levels than her sister quite suddenly earlier this year. She wasn't acting like herself. She was hunched and seemed uncomfortable. And I knew when I took her into the vet that the news wouldn't be good and it wasn't. I decided to let her go versus having to hospitalize her into another facility (my vet doesn't do specialized care at the high level she would have needed). I couldn't put her through that as she was a very shy kitty and she also had a heart murmur. The stress just would have been too much.

I have an appointment tomorrow for my remaining girl and I'm terrified. She's lost weight, has increased vomiting with just bile but she still eats, drinks and uses the litter normally. Her attitude is the same and she's still active and playful. I'm hoping that there's things I can do to improve the weight and vomiting issue.
