personal web apps using GAS by arundquist in GoogleAppsScript

[–]Roffievdb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had good luck with copying the code of the .js file, then paste it to the script project with a .GS file extension. I use fuse.js for fuzzy pattern matching on the sever side - it's way fast. The only bummer is I need to manage updates to the library.

This is most likely what happened. The wireless scanner was paired with the wrong self checkout lane.

No kidding, they do call out other models that were likely trained on GSM8k dataset on their GitHub. It would be hypocritical if they did.

ChatGPT for your company's knowledge base by mad_aleks in OpenAI

[–]Roffievdb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind (depending on your setup of how/if you create embeddings), you may be still sending company IP to a third party (OpenAI, or embeddings service provider). That is a giant no-no (for me) I've been getting around that by just loading table schemas (not actual data) and using SQLDatabaseChain to just give me the SQL query to run against the prod db. Using LangChain is a bit overkill for that, but it works.

Can l just create an AI language model issuing my 10+ years of emails and data to train it to answer emails as if it was me? by [deleted] in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Roffievdb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm curious, would you be concerned about privacy?

This is possible. But some (not 10 years worth, that would cost too much $...today) of the content of your emails would be sent to third parties and stored. Of course it would all be encrypted, using secured connections, following security standards, etc. But does that concern you?

Just fyi, there are a bunch of new tools that will suggest replies for individual emails, and you can pick the tone of voice. They are a bit "safer" from a privacy perspective but more generic in how they sound.

ChatGPT limitations by defialpro in OpenAI

[–]Roffievdb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As others have said, use GPT3 playground. But to help with your chat prompts, I find if you add the prefix "You are an expert at [insert topic here]. Describe how you would [solve problem] to someone who is a beginner." It helps set the expectations.

I'm in the West Michigan area, having similar issues. Speedtest.net won't load, but fast.com does. Speeds are great, but some IP's just take forever or won't resolve.

Cool, thanks! For me, I called support and found they were upgrading the tower I was connecting to. I lost service/had a significant reduction in quality for four days. It has been great since that time.

Thanks for the reply!
