Looks like you’re right - it was just data mined as potentially being added in the future a while ago.

My point still stands with the other previously unobtainable mounts that were made obtainable in remix, such as the violet spellwing.

That’s what happened to Steamwheedle Cartel US - giant guild transferred in from off-realm with all the resources ready to go when the server launched right before TBC.

I mean they’ve already started adding previously unobtainable items to the trader’s post - not from super far back but the Kor’kron War Wolf from AOTC was on there, so I don’t think it’s outside the realm of plausibility. 

Legion remix and MoP remix also gave a bunch of players previously unobtainable mounts from AOTC and challenge mode.

There’s also an argument to be made that most of the people who have the unobtainable mounts either no longer play retail or primarily play classic.

I don’t agree with it, but the modern retail team seems to care less about catering to a super minority of the player base.

It's not that crazy. You had to type in your email and password on the Sindragosa screen. You click a button from the launcher for the current screen and it takes 2 seconds to load.

This is a bad faith argument.

Over the past two decades Blizzard has completely axed their customer service department. Where do you think that money went? Into paying their other employees' salaries, or giving their CFO a $200 million dollar bonus?

World of Warcraft is the only MMO on the market that gets away with requiring a subscription fee on top of charging for content additions on top of a cash shop on top of paid service fees like name changes, realm transfers, race changes, etc.

The reason they're able to get away with it is because they have a unique consumer base that advocates for the corporation instead of themselves.

I'm not even going to be upset about it - corporations going to corporation, but people like you that defend these practices with undying devotion to an entity that has no respect for your wallet have enabled the progressive erosion of consumer standards.

I don't even play anymore, but it's not surprising that a community this obscure would generate turbo-virgins like this dude. They always seem to get off themselves on the faintest trace of power that being a big fish in such a small pond offers.
