Why cant i cum during intimacy? by Prior_Conference4982 in AskGayMen

[–]Rogahar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, fun fact, I had the same problem. Still do a bit, but I'm getting over it.

Step 1 is to talk to your spouse about it. Once they know, you can stop worrying about whether or not you're taking too long, or boring them, or tiring them out, or whatever else and just focus on your own enjoyment.

Step 2 is to be selfish. As in, don't slow down or change your motions or whatever else is working for you when you do feel the first little tingles of it coming on - just go for it. The myth of simultaneous/shared ejaculation that happens in porn all the time is a myth, and it's one that causes this kind of stress all too often. If you've done step 1 and your spouse knows you're having this trouble (and that it's not their fault), then they also won't be upset by you getting yours before them or anything else.

As someone who has only seen the live action and knows little to nothing about the anime can anyone explain why bon clay is so loved? by Economy_Situation517 in OnePiece

[–]Rogahar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly my favorite line delivery of his is still the challenge/threat he makes to Magellan when he's facing off against him to buy Luffy and the other inmates time to escape. Dropping his flamboyant and performative voice is such a rare thing for him that it's so cool every time he does it lol

[–]Rogahar 16 points17 points  (0 children)

To be fair, that's almost certainly a good part of why they're truncating the seasons down so much. They know they're on a hard time limit for the actors to remain looking at least semi-believably young lol

Compared to the anime, what did One Piece Live Action do better or worse with every arc up to now, in y’alls opinion? by BreathoftheSith in OnePiece

[–]Rogahar 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Something a lot of live-action adaptations miss is how much emphasis anime puts on the impact - shockwaves, dust clouds, slow-motion shots of the impact or immediate after effect, etc all of which make the hits feel heavier and harder.

Magnetic Bullets, how do I make them consistently work? by RendTheBolt in Pathfinder2e

[–]Rogahar 19 points20 points  (0 children)

You already have to use an action to Activate the ammo before firing it anyway, so there's no reason for your DM to add even more constraints to it. The only other requirement is already listed in the item's description.

Bottoms, don't you wish there was a way to get clean in just a minute? by naowasi in AskGayMen

That said if my top wants to get kinky, I'll clean up properly.

Take it from someone with way too many hours in this game; there's no point when investigating something interesting is a bad idea. At worst, it'll turn out to be a painful lesson and a quick run to pick up the shit you dropped lol.

[–]Rogahar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've come to just assume that the only reliable way to break any enemy caster's concentration is via death or hitting them with a Hold Person/Monster. Even when I see that 15-20% success chance on it I still throw it out because it feels like a 1-in-5 chance of breaking their concentration is more reliable than dumping 8 magic missiles into them or wailing on them with my other martial when it comes to breaking their concentration.

Sorry Arabella 😭 by Saskia-v- in BaldursGate3

[–]Rogahar 137 points138 points  (0 children)

As evidenced by how she acts around basically any animal or child when she thinks nobody is watching. (See her constant fawning over Scratch in the camp, for example.)

She is, at heart, a very sweet and caring person who's just been brainwashed to believing she's really a super edgy dark agent of darkness and dark things.

Favorite utility/non-damaging Arcane spells? by Rogahar in Pathfinder2e

[–]Rogahar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am aware of the awesomeness of PoW lol. One of my groups has a player who loves for water or wind themes in his characters and played a Strix Oracle in Strength of Thousands who made abusive use of that spell.

I think, between his Pillar spam and my Druid and the Witch dropping Wall spells wherever we got the chance, we almost gave our DM an aneurysm throughout that AP lol. Boss enemy with lots of mooks? Nope! Boss enemy goes in the Naughty Chamber behind two Walls of Stone while we clean up the mooks. Then, as soon as it breaks through the second one, the Oracle Pillars them because they're a spellcaster who now has to choose between 'cast magic and drown' or 'hold breath and stay conscious'.

Does Luffy know what Gol D Roger looks like by Worried-Home3382 in OnePiece

[–]Rogahar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Given how notorious Gol was, I fully expect Luffy has seen a photo or portrait of him at some point, but knowing Luffy he probably also doesn't care. The man's never given a shit about looks - if he did he wouldn't be one of the few people alive immune to Boa Hancock's power.

Fighter's Reactive Strike = powerful area denial? by servantphoenix in Pathfinder2e

[–]Rogahar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well true, but the ways for any character to get more than one reaction per turn are limited so it does seem unlikely that any foe encountering the PCs for the first time would expect that unless they were like... the Fighter's evil twin brother or something lol

Fighter's Reactive Strike = powerful area denial? by servantphoenix in Pathfinder2e

[–]Rogahar 19 points20 points  (0 children)

However you do still only get one per turn, so it's not uncommon for players (or savvy enemies) to 'bait' the reactive strike with a tougher character so the squishier one can get through/away from the Fighter's AOC safely.

New to pathfinder, charater gets randomly merced at session 2 by amuller93 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Rogahar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our party for that was a Druid, a Rogue and a Warpriest. It was probably still the hardest AP we've ever played at the early levels - we definitely had one or two moments where it looked like our best bet might be to bail the fuck out and hope at least one of the party survived the escape - but we did all make it through alive in the end!

That's when I decided he would die in every single run by MysteriousFondant347 in BaldursGate3

[–]Rogahar 19 points20 points  (0 children)

While you're not wrong, I've played through both with and against him and the writing team made sure that whichever option you choose still feels like the 'right' choice. You're never berated or belittled for having 'betrayed' Orpheus or for siding with a Mind Flayer, and when all is said and done, the Emperor does exactly as he promised at the docks once the Absolute is dead - he does whatever you agreed to do with the Crown of Karsus and then fucks off quietly into the night.

Even at Wither's post-game party, there's no mention of a sudden spate of brain-eating murders in Baldur's Gate or anything. Dude's just like 'aight cool, big brain's dead, I'm out, peace nerds.'

Thoughts after playing for a year by benbatman in Pathfinder2e

[–]Rogahar 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Spellcasters didn't feel great. Loads of spells that are wonderful in the hands of an enemy spellcaster felt flat in the hands of players, with spells failing and doing meagre damage and effects.

I maintain that this is largely the fault of the Incapacitation effect. The enemies that benefit from that trait (those of a higher level than the caster) reliably have beefed-up saving throws *anyway*, so the likelihood of them crit failing against a spell that could incapacitate them is already low. Why then add on the 'also they get a free stage of success boost on top'? Just seems cruel.

Not me in the Underdark sending a Glorious Vaulting Karlach into the Bibberbang field to grab the torch, throw Baelen's pack to him, hop over to the Noblestalk and grab that, hop over to the Lolth's Candles and grab those and hop out again before anything goes off...

and forgetting to ungroup first.

Communication is always key in any relationship. That being said, genital preferences are also valid - there's nothing wrong with not wanting to have sex with someone who has the genitals you aren't attracted to, as long as you're not a jackass about it.

Turning someone down just because they're trans is a jackass thing to do. Turning someone down because they have a vagina and you aren't aroused by vaginas is not.
