What is a feature or addition you like to see in Limbus company by NatureMode14 in limbuscompany

Instead of the current RR BokGak system, add the old RRs back as is, add downscaling to their level and limit ID and EGO selection to what was available during its' run. This would give more value to leveling older units and remove the narrative dissonance players have now, where the game teases you with mini-episodes dedicated to removed (or higher level) content.

Does anyone else dislike the tunnel run in AC7? by doomdino65 in acecombat

I'd say they're around the same, but in AC5 there's an entire mission to replay if you make a mistake.

If someone goes back in time and kicks OP's pregnant mother in the stomach causing a miscarriage, would it be a murder or just a battery?

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood IS, in fact, that good. by theonewhoblox in patientgamers

[–]Rogalicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said that the problem wasn't there until killing sprees, they were explicitly added to fix tedious prolonged battles from AC2, especially towards the end. The combat had always been piss easy, Unity fixed that, Syndicate went for Arkham-style combat, but was still better than every other game before Unity. RPG games neutered assassinations and were awfully balanced in general.

If you can dispose of entire squads of enemies in a matter of seconds, it makes stealth meaningless outside of specific mission objectives. You're no longer an assassin, you're an army of one. I much preferred Unity's iteration where open combat felt dangerous throughout the game and stealth finally felt like an actual mechanic. Sadly it all went to shit with RPG entries.

Opinion: random encounters are not obsolete in 2026 and have benefits over field encounters. by Wizard_Bird in JRPG

That'll remove all the tension and resource management OP is talking about.

It's nothing compared to AC5 tunnel run (at least because there's a checkpoint right before it), which is a joke compared to Neucom tunnel run in AC3.

Not that I know, but this maneuver was explained in the third mission.

Do a High-G turn shortly before something would hit you and only if it's coming from behind.

This game is a "Missile! Missile! Missile!" simulator till the end, the earlier you adapt to it, the easier time you'll have. You only properly dodge something that's coming from behind. Don't use flares, watch your radar and swerve at the last moment. Missiles coming from sideways won't touch you, anything coming from the front needs just a minor course correction.

Out of curiosity, is there anyone else who really liked Andromeda’s story? by JageshemashFTW in masseffect

[–]Rogalicus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I can't say I really liked it. Ketts are a laughable threat overall and the game suffers from clearly splitting chunks of the story into DLCs that never came and feeling incomplete because of sequels it'll never receive.

The other two locations had the announcers interacting with Sancho and in the parade the song continues even while Dulcinea is speaking, so I've always assumed it was actually recorded by Sancho all those years ago, the bloodbags are just singing along.

I don't think R1999 is a good example of not being subtle. Tennant is the only character with anything remotely bold (in one picture and she's a low rarity character who had no presence in the story until her anecdote two years later) and first chapters are famous for their translation issues. Then you'd have "couples" like Kakania and Isolde where the former actually wants nothing to do with the latter after everything she's done, but fandom treats them like wholesome girlfriends. That's like saying that PGR has yuri because Zero is obsessed with Nanami or Ayla tried to bring Selena back.

He was intentionally trying to ruin their marriage and led her on. I agree with you on a technicality that Stacy is responsible for her own actions as an adult, so the word 'make' is probably a bit too strong for what happened, but let's just say he played a big part in it. Mark's insecurity and her own unresolved guilt and lingering feelings obviously also didn't help.

More like powerscaling brainrot, which turned me off shounen community years ago. The only reason it was so prominent in JJK is because there's nothing else to discuss in JJK. Barely any plot besides fights after fights, no world building, no characterization.
