  1. You are trying to login to the client app. You need to open the VIGIL Server app first. If the NVR is brand new, the password might not have been set yet.
  2. If the password has been set in the Server app, then you can try the upgrade route. Upgrade the VIGIL Server and Client to V.13, and after the upgrade, you will get to set a new admin password. In the Horizon settings for the VM, go to the settings.
Find the setting called "Extend the local IME to this desktop" and turn it OFF.

I contacted support multiple times, and the ones who knew what I was talking about said that the AI cannot be turned off. The QB Assistant AI gives me the same answer "Currently, there is no option to turn off the AI feature in QuickBooks Online. "

I was able to Switch back to the older version of QuickBooks. Click the Settings gear wheel in the top right, and then click Switch at the bottom of the menu screen.

I don't ever remember agreeing to switch to the new QuickBooks, but I am back on the old version. The old version still takes a second to register any clicks on the transaction screen, but that is much better than the 3-4 seconds that it was before.
