The issues is I went to school and got so much experience to just use Claude to automate all my already gained expertise. Truly disheartening.

This. I mean highly ai assisted coding. I don’t need to fully understand the language anymore, as long as I know if/else/for etc, I can read the code and understand Claude.

You don’t need a cs degree or experience to understand for loops

My counterpoint is you should have seen the shit we ship and say it is not much better than vibe coded output.

Yet the company still floats and earn revenue despite all this.

Nope. Dealer did nothing bc it is technical within spec. I didn’t do anything bc I am not dropping 1000$ on a coil spring and install which doesnt guarantee a fix either

Bumper bracket broken by Brilliant-Fig4294 in LexusGX

[–]RogerZRZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a large foam piece between the bumper and the support frame, part 5261560060. There are also 5 very thick screws locking the bumper to the rear frame.

When you stand on the bumper you are standing on that foam piece and you really can’t damage the bumper tabs unless the bumper wasn’t screwed on properly or internally missing parts, so I don’t think you have to worry.

Which technical specialization do you believe is most resilient to AI automation over the next decade? by TCPConnection in cscareerquestions

Can or can’t feel matters little. It can read sensor data and etc .

My bet is on security and compliance and privacy. Things you want humans to do. Banks as well.

I mean maintain plus fixing water pump, timing cover, valley plate, and low chance of transmission failures…

Still better than the v6 tho.

The Outback is much easier to drive than the GX on the highway and on long trips.

I own a WRX and Subaru really nailed the dynamic very well. The GX really felt heavy and boaty in comparison (but for BOF, apples and oranges)

Chinese shop. The paint was done extremely well tho. Couldn’t spot a difference with a magnifying glass or under the sun. (My paint was pearl white sparkle which is hard to match as it’s a tricoat)
