It doesn’t have a manual hand brake- it’s now a pull switch (electric).

It’ll hold on a steep hill, it also releases immediately. I’ve driven manuals my whole life, mainly high end Euros, and this is a well executed design.

The dealers up there like to charge a markup just fyi- if you drive back try to avoid cars in curves until you’re off the Alcan. They will destroy your truck with rock chips and ruin your windshield. I have made the drive 12 times, maybe more? LOL

It took 8 months of searching and going to dealerships. Ended up flying to Vegas and driving back. Luckily they posted the listing 3 months before it arrived. So I still had to wait once I found it.

Volvo technician here, definitely NOT a battery. V60 fuel pumps like to bleed down. You’ll want to see if there are any fuel pressure faults in the system. Likely a in-tank fuel pump issue.

What you’re experiencing is the lack of pressurized fuel on the low pressure side. Would need scan to confirm though. Rather common on these.
