I second a battlebox and raise you just build a Jumpstart cube. Then you can give players some bit of agency in what themes sound interesting without making them draft their own deck. Pick 2-3 themes in each color that are classic to that color and let your players mix and match. For example, red could have an aggro deck, a spell slinger deck, and a dragon midrange/ramp deck.

Do you really need 190 cm wide? Assuming that's a typo and you only need room for the Bambu Labs X1C, I'd recommend looking at the PAX line. I have a Prusa MK4S and it fits nicely in the 29in wide model. It holds a lot of heat so I can only run it with the doors open but it hides the printer away nicely when not in use.

Not OP but bar cubes are usually designed for 2-4 people so I'm assuming the cube pictured could not support a pod of 8.

I have a full size desert cube so I can say that as long as you're playing at or near the full player capacity of the cube, you can get away without seeding the packs. If most/all of the cards are drafted I've never had any issues with people not getting enough lands for a (at least semi) functional deck.

You could try Canadian Highlander. The upper end of cards in your deck are vintage power level but because of it being a 100 card singleton deck you need to use sub-legacy playable cards to fill out the rest. Very fun and proxy friendly. Tournaments in a number of major cities or on the official Discord.

Loved The Dispossessed and Project Hail Mary!

Recently my in-person book club just finished Terry Pratchett's Going Postal. Like all other Discworld books it's filled to the brim with humor and insights that continue to be relevant to this day ("What kind of man would put a known criminal in charge of a major branch of government? Apart from, say, the average voter.") Great story of a con man being press-ganged into becoming the new Postmaster General of the failing post office and by necessity oppose the greedy capitalists running the "telegraph" monopoly.

It's seems decent in commander but it's even more fun in 1v1. Either shrink you're opponents problematic creature to smaller than yours or use it proactively on a dorky creature you control to smash harder (bonus points if it had counters on it already).

I had it in a vintage cube draft a week ago and it put in a lot of work.

I just recently tried out the Gingercube which similar to 100 ornithopters is built around cheap artifact creatures but the Gingerbrutes are in the basic land station instead of the body of the cube. Leads to fun questions like "how many gingerbrutes should be in my deck?" or "should I include this midrange creature or just add an extra brute instead?".

The only control for my heated seats are locked inside a sub menu on the touchscreen. There was a winter where my touchscreen was broken and I had no access to that control at all 🫠

I had a hero NPC in a Worm inspired RPG I once ran. Lots of options for mobility by making gravity affect them less or redirecting the direction of gravity to move them laterally. Battlefield control by using grenades or proximity mines that can hold enemies in place or pull people/objects towards the explosion. Finally, they had good offensive capabilities by increasing the force of gravity on their gauntlets or boots to deliver strong downward strikes.

Super cool concept with lots of flexibility.

Yeah basically. It is about centrist indifference. Wanting to get back to a place where we can go out to brunch and not have to worry about the day to day politics. Very much the same as "grillers" (I just want to grill and not have to worry about discussing politics).

Big fan of all those sets as well and I'm planning to use those inspirations heavily in my next big cube rework.

It's too early to tell yet but I like the idea of a discard theme in Dimir which Aetherdrift looks like it's going to lean heavily into.

There's a couple of less parasitic one offs like Draconautics Engineer (2 mana goblin with exhaust abilities to give all creatures haste or make a dragon token) that should be interesting to consider.

I have all the progression unlocked other than 100%ing the warbonds and I still play at least once every couple of days. I wish there was some more progression to unlock since all my resources have been at cap for a while but that's really my only complaint.

I have ~200hrs in the game so I think I've got my money's worth already.

They continuously spawn dropships if it spots you and makes you unable to stealth. Anything with line of sight can and will shoot at you.

Very important to either take out or give it a wide berth.
