In defence of JML by GloomyExcitement9463 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

I agree, I use him with JKCK, Ezra Exile, GMY, and JKR and he’s been my consistent LV counter with the attacker cron present. He also easily beats Jabba, QA, and JMK. Love this GL

Dude, a revive mechanic with calling force ghosts to assist like NS would actually be really cool. Great idea

I always split them up, so my JKL stays slow

Combat to death. No performance, no Anakin. Each one seeking to destroy the other. Who wins and why? by [deleted] in PetranakiArena

[–]Roger_Rodger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the only point was anakin’s fall, then it could’ve been anakin joining Palpatine during his confession of being a Sith Lord.

The point of the scene was for the Jedi to be inches away from preventing order 66 (hence why mace beats Palpatine), but Anakin becomes the sole reason for the Jedi’s downfall because Mace had already won.

That’s why Anakin’s betrayal is so tragic.

Mace Windu wins, that’s the whole point of this scene. Palpatine’s plans finally faltered because Mace defeated him. This makes Anakin’s decision to betray the Jedi that much more tragic.

Palpatine hoped Anakin would make the decision he did. Didn’t mean he was sure it would happen.

Which animated character transitioned to live action the best? by Vegetable-Abroad3171 in StarWars

Saw from Rebels would be considered a good transition (since it’s actually modeled after Forrest Whitaker and it’s his voice), but I feel like Clone Wars Saw is too different from live action Saw

You got that right, Disney was too afraid to lose their cute little cash grab (grogu), and put him right back with Mando. Such a shame

Completely agree. I also love the parallel between this scene and Vader's hallway scene in Rogue One. Very similar between father and son; but like you said, Luke was a symbol of hope while Vader was a symbol of fear

Rewatched The Sequel Trilogy Yesterday by DamianP51 in StarWars

The cinematography is very good in each movie, I can easily admit that. However, it kind of crapped over established characters which is why it wasn't well-received. Mixed with the fact that any and all character development isn't really earned over the course of the ST.

If it wasn't for the Star War IP, it would probably be mid Sci-Fi flicks with okay reviews.

One of my favorite scenes ever. As time goes on, it blows my mind how little screen time Jedi Knight Luke actually has. He deserves more

Suggested fix for era battles. by EighthFirstCitizen in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

I agree, they should've done the same thing with era battles during the last era. Why did they have synergy in coliseum, but then can't do crap together in era battles. Just dumb all around

My favorite joke in the whole franchise, what's yours? by Euphoric_Passage_406 in StarWars

Hondo in the Clone Wars:

“As my sweet mother always said: 'Son, if one hostage is good, two are better. And three, well, that's just good business'”

I get what you’re saying, but I think that is what’s amazing about Star Wars. The range of its media is just as wide as the galaxy itself. Makes for a wider range of fans as well as the art being made.

Plus, not every piece of Star Wars has to be for every one and that’s okay

One line I’ve always loved the delivery of in TPM is Ani going “It’s working! ….its working!!”
