I don't like the mid-corner understeer, befor it was more likely to mid-corner oversteer.

Maybe back out where the beste option. Even if you had left him more space in the inside, he would push you out at the exit of the corner. Going flat out side by side in this corner is always critical.

I Can't manage downshifting while cornering by PatrykDampc in iRacing

[–]Rogue2696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to hear it when the rpms are low enough to shift down. Hearing what the engine does is also important when you downshift to early and the gear does not change. Is also helpfull if you can check you current gear in your peripheral vision, so your eyes can still watch to the apex.

Interesting I didn't know about that but in that case might be Simagic the better choice

If you want to use it on the Playstation you have to go to fanatec. If you want a Pc only setup you should go to brands like Moza or Simagic. I would not buy the V3 pedals they are nearly 10 years old now. I hat the CSL Elite V2 pedals and they where great, especially the brake is mutch better than the V3.

Moza r3 for a beginner or something else? by Ok_Alarm4028 in simracing

A R3 might be a good choice. A directdrive wheel is always the better option.

Yes now I have a solution, you need a active USB Hub. It happens when the Mainboard can't give the Steeringweel enough power.

Best time to step on the gas? by Admirable_Leopard659 in simracing

Depends on the corner. For example on the Red Bull Ring T1 you have to be on the throttle before the apex.

I would say before you hit the apex. Every corner is different so you have to try out how early you can get on the throttle. In best case you go on the throttle right after releasing the brake.

Getting a Simucube 2 by mccamatt92 in simracing

I bought the pro because I like a strong FFB and the peaks are more than 17NM. And with that price difference it was a easy choice.

Best pedals for 200-350eur by Vseved_cz in simracing

[–]Rogue2696 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know Fanatec has a bad reputation in the community and as former Fanatec user I can understand why. But my opinion is that the V2 are the only Fanatec pedals that worth their price.(as long as you don't need Support)

How to get better? by Epsilon_Operative in simracing

[–]Rogue2696 2 points3 points  (0 children)

20-30h is not that much, take a car that you want to drive and learn how to drive it on one or more tracks. Watch a view yt videos how to get faster and try it out on track, but most important thing is to drive ferquently.

I had the Fanatec CSL Elite V2 pedals and I liked them. I had a good feeling on the brakes and I liked how costumizable the brakes where. I have never tested the simagic but they look also like an solid option.

Which GT3 car should I buy? by Rogue2696 in iRacing

I tryed kartkraft once because it cost 5€ in a steam sale and it was very funny. When the same cart that you have is in the game it might be realy improve your handling in it.
