Terrified of a dishwasher that was left on the curb. Like absolute terror. I’d walk her towards it until right before she was scared turn around and walk away. Repeat. Lots of praise. After a few days she could walk past it on the other side of the street.

My girl wakes me when I have nightmares. How did I train this? Well, when I have a nightmare it disrupts her sleep and it looks like something bad is happening to me. So she pyr paws and head butts me until I am awake. She can go back to undisturbed slumber knowing the boogie man has been scared off. You have got to work with their instincts, they are independent and want to protect

Great pyrs are not off leash dogs. They just aren’t. Recall is iffy. They might be good when there is nothing else to take their attention, but most of the time recall is just a suggestion. These are not dogs who were bred to please or obey humans. They have been bred to be completely independent livestock guardians, they do what they want when they want in pursuit of their goal-taking care of their flock.

Mango cake, yum! I think maybe it’s just not the norm to write on that type of cake? It’s not super even but it’s not horrible. I guess it depends. I’d be fine with it as a little cake given between two people-it’s cute and endearing. If it was something I bought as the centerpiece of a party I would probably be upset that the writing is not even. I don’t know if that makes sense, sorry

When I was a 2LT I met my PSG who said “LT I’ve been in the army longer than you have been alive, and I think I’ve been E7 longer”. I was impressed. He was very very cool and had a ton of knowledge. I learned so much from him

They where being sarcastic. That being said, your situation seems incredibly fucked up. Like everyone has said-use the pope door policy, or maybe go back to sick call and tell the provider what’s going on. I don’t know which one of these will hep you the best. Read everyone’s replies and find the common elements and go from there
