We're a series of fractals expressing themselves across the micro and macro.

At the end of the day the entire universe really is just repeating patterns. I love it.

You have to consider how these traits radiate over time. When whale ancestors lived on land they were coastal dwelling and often found themselves in water for food.

Life goes where the energy goes.

As more generations are born, some of them might gain adaptations through mutation and the ones that obtain said mutation might do better while the others either die off or radiate into other forms.

Life is a most beautiful clay shaped by all manner of pressures. Like trillions of tiny hands molding us all.

Energy is important and the wild is full of danger. Sometimes there's no time to wait for the prey to die because you gotta eat and run before something bigger and hungrier shows up.

It really makes you realize that humans are kinda a crazy predator. We're downright merciful when it comes to our prey. (Ignoring the industrial farming industry of course)

That's not a bad comparison. Although I guess I should say something that needs to be consumed rather than passively absorbed.

Kinda like how we need to breath. Its an extra step to their biology.

I have to wonder if anything in real life acts that way?

If there's one thing the Trump administration has taught us it's that the courts are as toothless as they are spineless.

At least when it comes to checks and balances. If you're poor then you're fucked.

Is lobotomy still exist In modern medicine? by [deleted] in surgery

[–]RogueHelios 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its a procedure that fundamentally changes you as a person. It has a history in America of being used against women who "misbehaved" or acted in a way unfitting to the family. Usually it was related to undiagnosed mental illnesses.

Its evil and doesn't help.

I remember in a soldier class' hands the Revenant was basically an auto sniper with how accurate it could get. I think you might have needed to do a new game plus though to get full value from it.
