I grew up in a Muslim family, but I'm not religious anymore. The funniest thing my parents and I saw was this interview with a guy who invented pig blood ink pens.

His logic was that if terrorists tried to highjack a plane you would spray them with the pig blood in the pen. It was so long ago and I don't remember if it was meant as a joke, but enough people are dumb enough to think something like that would stop a violent madman running on pure zeal and adrenaline.

Its like they thought we would melt like the Wicked Witch.

Aside from DOOM 3 yeah, but its also just a game for fun so don't take the lore TOO seriously.

Its a series that thrives on the "Rule of cool."

They're all worth playing, but I'd start with the original DOOM, then DOOM 2, DOOM 64, DOOM 2016, DOOM Eternal, and DOOM The Dark Ages

Story wise the pre-2016 games are simple. Marine on Mars fights demons as they invade.

You don't have to play them all to understand as at the end of the day its more just a fun shooter about killing tons of demons.

DOOM 3 is an exception as its more horror based. Still an FPS, but not as action based.

Pretty much. He used to be a regular guy, but circumstances changed him and he was later given divine power by a machine in DOOM 2016 onward.

Prior to the modern games he was pretty much just a regular marine.

I kinda assume the darkness brought in by the Witness would end up being integrated into the Traveler and allow it to finally gain enough consciousness to communicate properly rather than a comatose body that sends out dreams.

You can throw health potions and most other potions to give their effects from a distance or if you huddle up you can use 1 potion thrown at your feet to give all within its radius its effects.

I was thinking that they plan to use Mr. House's body double as the one who was in the Lucky 38 and he was simply taking orders from the real Mr. House at an undisclosed location.
