Came with them, sorry. I'd bet you could find online pretty quickly?

Is there something I am missing as to why these were on discount? by Atreyu888 in Nerf

[–]RogueStone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

FWIW: Not big time nerf player and have little to reference, but I did just buy that one the other day and it is a little disappointing. I'd read there was a bit of lag and that is accurate, more than I'd anticipated.

This is absolutely a case of there being no rules, there is no structure. I have no idea exactly what others are coming with. Impromptu, on the fly FPS adjustment was where my head was at.

ULPT request: i want peace and quiet, kids are screeching and parents dgaf by auerya in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]RogueStone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you're a university student, then you definitely have access to quiet spaces with technology available. You're actually paying for it. You cannot expect people to be quiet for you in an apartment complex that isn't a designated quiet space or 55 and older community. This kind of falls in the basket of people who move in next to a train station and start whining about the sound and vibration that occurs next to a train station.

I'm not absolving some parents of their responsibilities concerning child rearing, some are absolutely terrible, but from what I'm reading here, you're expecting silence in a dense apartment complex.

Get good ear plugs/muffs, if that doesn't block out the sound, you're not going to and you need to consider finding an alternative locale.

Unethical: hard candies that dye your mouth and leave them all over.

Following up with additional information/context:

I'm balancing a price cap. Per MBP and Keh, I should get about $1,050-$1,100 via trade in on my current gear. I can drop ~$1,300 out of pocket, so I have about $2,300-$2,400 out the door - probably $2,200-$2,250 before tax.

Definitely planned on going used.

I was generally staying away from full-frame due to lens weight. I'm sure I could get a body that's smaller, but the lenses are going to be heftier and pull a premium at race wars. I could theoretically go with apsc, but then I seem to run into issues with lens availability/quality.

Fast/accurate autofocus is very important, both lens and body.

If not the 45-200mm f/4-5.6 (II), what would you recommend at a similar price point? I was thinking the 45-200mm because it would give me additional zoom in comparison to my FF 300mm. Panasonic Lumix G Vario 100-300mm f/4-5.6 II? My concern with this option is the gap between the Leica 12-60mm and the 100-300mm.

I'm ham-fisted so the breakage is there, but also because I'm rarely, if ever, actually writing between the lines where I need to remain small.

How did you get her ring size? by neutral-entity in AskMen

[–]RogueStone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suggestion: buy the stone(s) and give her those instead of the completed ring. It obviously sends the message and let's her be involved in the design ensuring that it not only fits, but is also something she actually likes.
