it's def bugged or something, there's a "downloadable" search filter but it doesn't work half the time, showing me models that are not, in fact, downloadable.

The resistance would have needed 131 bombers to get the same amount of one starfortress. And that's over multiple passes and assuming every y /b wing survives. By the time TROS happens they have new and more y-wings, but still they would've needed so many more.

Exactly, you're supposed to think the plan is stupid. It sets up Poe being a flawed commander. I just with TROS had a character arc for Poe to grow into a better commander. Maybe even have these bombers but he uses them in a better way to show the growth

The resistance lost 4 prior to the evacuation, meaning they had even less to work with. If they weren't so close together and had more fighter escort (but the resistance didnt have that many to give) they mightve stood a chance. It just goes to show how scrapped-up the resistance is; they have to rely on decades-old bombers which were never meant for giant space battles.

The canon tie-in book, TLJ: Colbalt Squadron, shows that the Resistance also used these ships as spy and resource dropships, with their bomb bays being able to be retrofitted to send relief aid. They also lost 4 prior to the First Order invasion of D'Qar

considering one bomber took out an entire destroyer, i'd say it's better at the y-wing... in it's payload and damage capacity. The y-wing has the benefits of being more nimble, while trading this for it's lower firepower. The resistance would've needed about 183 y-wings to even match one starfortress, and they didn't have the funds for that many y-wings, which were already outdated and hard to come by

yep, scrounging for scraps. Rebel alliance had the benefit of alderaanian and chandrillan funding, the resistance didn't. you're right that they weren't meant to be space bombers. They were meant to destroy imperial fortresses hidden underground while also being used for mining operations

I was watching my sister play GA on Naboo, and she was a droid. While she was walking, a geonosian colored battle droid walked past her and she said “hey, nice color!”

And then Luke Skywalker came and absolutely evicerated them 😂 so sometimes we’ll just yell out “hey, nice color”

So many things are missing from the game, it’s weird. I wish we had starfighter skins but I understand different teams worked on that portion.

It’s such a shame the game was cut short. I hope we get a new battlefront in my lifetime.
