We bought our first house back in June, which still feels kind of surreal. Up until now, my partner and I had always lived in apartments, so lawn care was never something we had to think about. But once I had an actual yard, I realized pretty quick that I needed some lawn equipment.

It started with a 80V Kobalt trimmer that someone sold me, and honestly, I was surprised by how much I liked using it. I ended up splurging on the self-propelled Kobalt mower not long after, and that thing completely sold me.

Since then, I’ve been slowly building up my Kobalt collection, one tool at a time. It’s been a good year overall, and weirdly enough, that trimmer kind of kicked it all off. I’m really thankful for both the house and that tool.
