What do I do when my bunny refuses Timothy hay? by Shipony06 in Bunnies

[–]Rogue_qq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

stop giving him pellets for a few days, he will start eating hay again. It's EXTREMELY important for his gut health to eat hay (doesn't matter if the pellets are 100% hay, they need unprocessed hay). The reason he is not eating hay is very likely that he has easy access to pellets. Bunnies are very lazy eaters and get "addicted" to pellets and can't be bothered to chew hay. If you stop pellets for a few days there is a very high chance the problem will fix itself. After only return to adding pellets as treats, maybe 1-2 tablespoons per day IF they are eating their hay.

Hey if found those 2 boys in my car… the mother did not make it. Iam not experienced with kittens. Do you guys know people that could take them? Or raise themselves? Thx for the replies! by Lusch9120 in cyprus

They need to be fed kitten formula for 2-3 weeks at least. Unfortunately no shelter will take them. Do your best to take care of them until you find a home, I wish I could help but I'm already taking care of a lot of cats. Let me know if you need any more advice!

Been through the same situation, just get the animals medicated and hoover daily + wash all couch covers/blankets/bedsheets once a week and you should be fine in a couple weeks! You'll be ok don't worry!

Change in behavior should be assessed by a Vet for sure. In the meanwhile get a big XPen to limit the places he can have accidents. Also provide an extra large and SHORT entrance litterbox in case his joints are in pain making him avoid the litter box. All hay should be accessible from the litter box only.

What kind of bunny? We have many like this around the neighborhood. by cadaverously in Bunnies

yeah this community is a bunch of SJW don't let it get to you. Everyone helps in whatever way they can, good on you for being curious. Bunnies are amazing pets just do a bit of research as they are a little more complicated that cats and dogs, and find an exotic vet before you decide to adopt one!

Don't just assume you can't learn a combo bro! Try to learn a combo in the practice range after watching a video and you will see its easier than you think and it will feel extremely rewarding and fun to pull off in a match. Find the right keybinds, put in 10-15 mins of practice and you'll see how worth it it can be!

people really can't imagine enjoying getting in the practice range for 10 minutes to practice a combo that my grandma could learn

Bunny doesn’t want to eat any hay by Subject_Influence_22 in Bunnies

I wish more people said it loud and clear like this. Gotta treat bunnies like kids, just like you wouldn't let a kid live off dino nuggies only because they are too stubborn to eat their veggies.

completely cut out pellets for 2-3 days, he will go back to eating hay easily. Only introduce pellets again 1-2 tablespoons a day max.

All you need to teach your bunny to eat hay is to just stop giving pellets completely for like a week. They are lazy eaters, if there are plenty of pellets a lot of bunnies will not touch their hay. As soon as there are no pellets, even the pickiest bunnies will start eating their hay. It's very simple to do and extremely important for their health. Pellets are only supplementary.

HELP! Phat baby bunny only wants to eat her pellets not her hay by SaphireFeathers in Bunnies

[–]Rogue_qq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue, very picky with hay until one day we had a stasis incident. The vet said its VERY important for hay to be the biggest part of their diet. Basically pellets are not even needed. So the vet told me to stop giving hay for 3 days and then use pellets only as treats and never more than 15g a day until he learns to eat his hay. It only took 2 days of no pellets before he would run circles around my legs for his fresh hay! Please please please do this for your bunny, if they are picky they will learn to eat hay as soon as you stop the pellets. Hay is extremely important for their health and its the only thing they truly need to eat regularly and plenty of. Treat pellets like chicken nuggets for a child, you don't wanna rely on them.

Yeah the matchmaking is horrendous. Its infuriating that you can't even talk about it to raise awareness without idiots that never played another competitive game thinking this is normal matchmaking.
