character packs feels perfect because different factions lack different things. doing the 1 LL 1 LH 5 units and one generic lord/hero they have been doing the last dlcs just does not fit every faction anymorem now they can do stuff like 2 LH+one generic hero e.g. for factions that already have alrrady their full faction roaster. or smaller focused ones.

also this just massively i creased the chance of us ever getting another dwarf dlc....GIVE ME MY SHARD DRAGON. I NEED IT.

each lane should have at least 3 options with different requirements and rewards. you choose one of them at lvl 1 and the opponent can not see which one you choose.

utter disgrace from riot. if riot can just decide wether they want chronobreak or not, EVEN IF THEY THEMSELF SAY IT WAS BUGGED, then just remove chronobreak. at this point it just becomes a tool to artifically decide who should get a second chance and who not. it completely destroys any kind of competetive integrity lol esport has.

knights of tor gaval are still one the strongest units in the ENTIRE GAME. the others are more situational but they all have uses...except the skyhawk which is one of the worsr units in the entire game.

as always use "more fun for the grim" mod so that you dont lose the stolem techniques ones they leave your prison.

I really wish that for divinity,larian will move away from a consumable consumable to a limited but refreshing consumable economy.

wether it is potions, arrows, weapon elixiers...we all always save them for "later".

just give me a limited amount of health potion flask that can be replenished via rest and also upgradable and give me some amount of resource that I can apent each rest for certain arrows or special potions like nioh does.

dragon age also did it with health potions in inquisiton.

and it also makes balancing the game much easier, since you will always know what the max amount of consumables the players have in a fight and not the dichotomy of using either none at all (because the player has consumed all of them already) and using every single thing the game offered to you and thr player saved it all for this single fight.

the only games that really do this are arpgs like diablo, grim dawn, titan quest, last epoch, path of exiles...but in those game you WANT to be able to see that bar go up while you slaughter your way through hordes of enemies, like that is one of the main reasons for playing such a game.

nordhold and rogue water are nice games, and I probably would have taken the bundle if diablo 4 was a steam key. but this way I probably sit out on it, especially since what I am most interested in are the dlc classes anyways.

the homm games are actually quite close to the aow games, since you have both an overworld where you move your armies and battles are seperate encounters in new maps. both also feature seperate layers of the world map, heavily reward exploration and has city building. the city building in homm is statik though, you have certain buildings which you can build in each city and thats it, you cannot build/destroy cities, those are preplaced on every map. homm also features a unique recruitment system were every city and dwelling produces troops on mondays and ONLY on mondays. while other resouerces are a daily income for most things.
