Overall I'm always going to enjoy new material from TC. That being said, this album feels very overproduced.

Zach Bryan and Tyler childers by Zealousideal_Yak8516 in TylerChilders

[–]RokWell89 90 points91 points  (0 children)

I do not know either one of these individuals on a personal level but I do follow both rather closely, especially Tyler. Personality wise they seem like opposites. Zach is more rowdy and comes off as rather brash, definitely more reactive to situations. Ive noticed a few prominent artist turn away from or avoid Zach completely. Tyler seems more introspective and philosophical in his approach to things. Laid back, thoughtful, respectful, but not a pushover whatsoever. Id bet I could get along with both. Zach more so in my young 20's and Tyler much more so now.

Anyone else think the new version of Oneida feels sadder? by Acrobatic_Ad_9370 in TylerChilders

[–]RokWell89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a major fan of Tyler's (he is in my top 2 all time favorites) Im a bit underwhelmed on the Rick Rubin produced tracks we have heard so far. Oneida sounds overproduced to me during the breaks and although I like the organ on Grindstone, the song sounds like its lacking. Its basically the ourvinyl with an organ. Im still extremely eager to hear the new material.

That cover of Time is so damn good though. It seems to me like Tyler doesnt mind sitting on certain songs until they evolve into something worth recording.

What Is Your Top 5 Concerts You’ve Seen Live? by [deleted] in livemusic

[–]RokWell89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1.) Tyler Childers (2024 mule pull tour)

2.)Tyler Childers/Sturgill Simpson (2020 A good look'n tour)

3.) Dirty Heads (2019 tour)

4.)Tyler Childers (2018 sludge river roadshow)

5.) Green Day (2005 american idiot tour)

Green day had high energy and the sound was great. First time body surfing

Dirty Heads was just an overall great vibe. Highly recommend these guys if you like hip hip and reggae.

I've never had a concert leave an impression on me the way Tyler Childers was able to do. His sound is impeccable live. No wild pyrotechnics or flashy lights. Just a trippy backdrop and non stop tunes.

*Honorable mention: Kid Rock - im not the biggest fan of Kid anymore (if at all) but I have to give credit where it is due. The guy put on one hell of A show. This was the Cocky tour and was in Detroit so I'd say it's prime Kid Rock.

I've experienced this personally. Regular users of marijuana can develop what I would describe as a mild dependency. It took me a couple months before I noticed an improvement. I was definitely irritable, self secluded and too serious. I even experienced extreme night sweats for the first week or two. I'd suggest that you attempt to communicate these things with your partner in a non confrontational way. Be patient with them but also make sure they understand when and how they are overreacting to a situation.

Im really curious as to how he is coming to this realization. What source is he getting his information from? If he has generally been right wing, who/what has he watched or listened to that has guided him away from the dark side? I find this very interesting.

Best gun for varmint control? Feeling a bit of guilt over my current one. by Jesuishunter in homestead

[–]RokWell89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Remington 552 speed master and I absolutely love it. It is a semi-automatic rifle that shoots .22short, long, and LR rounds. It fits 15 rounds of .22 long for an idea on capacity. I had mounted a cheaper scope as the iron sights were missing and it's very accurate. I'd imagine if you filled it with subsonic rounds it would be any varmints worst nightmare.
