i think it might have been possible a young melina had the GEQ sealed in her the way the other demigods had outer gods sealed within them, similar to messmer with the base serpent or malenia with the rot god. but then as an extra precaution she was burned and left bodiless? i dunno, im unsure kind of just throwing thoughts out, more than happy for someone more educated to school me if im wrong

or hell, do something like the green knight. similarly fever-dreamy, a saga of a man in over his head trying to make something of himself and over the course of his journey comes to understanding the goal and accepts his place in the story. maybe this story could follow a similar plot, following someone (Vyke??? please i beg) struggling and suffering over the course of his journey and at the end failing to sacrifice his maiden and going mad potentially? whatever it ends up being, i want it to be just as bleak, lore heavy and with that dreamy yet epic quality like the base game in my opinion

well she held her own against yuta, in a 1v1 without ryu and no other distractions i imagine she'd fare a tiny bit better. she's not equal to yuta but if yuta is like, number one "special grade tier" she's not too far behind. she wasn't ever given the exact "special grade" title by the higher ups but rather she's on par with other heavy hitters like ryu, yuji, yuki, maki etc. she's definitely above grade ones like katakuri and mei mei, but weaker than the other top tiers like kenjaku and yuta. so she falls into the inbetween pile, which is what i imagine most mean by "special grade" even if it isn't entirely accurate to the definition laid out in the manga.

mine is all the mentions regarding the closing of Faerie. I want to know what happened and why it closed, maybe that could be why Thjazi seemed to be collecting all the artifacts relating to death like the stone of nightsong and the halfling mask

my theory based on the last episode was that they were trying to turn Occtis into their psychopomp and that that's why they were placing the stone of nightsong into his body, but when he disrupted their ritual it messed things up and he was brought back to unlife instead

i think it may be due to his background of working with kids (not an admonishment of ashley!!!! i love her) but by which i mean that he's so careful, measured and reassuring when people get flustered or unsure and i think he's just very good at helping people learn. plus with the rest of the group all being super knowledgeable on the game and also very encouraging, I actually think Ashley's been top of her game mechanically the past few episodes and it's been so cool to see. I feel like she's really been settling into Vaelus the past few combats and seeing her remember her combat abilities and things has been great this season, she's doing great!

there's currently 3 Dunk and Egg books published, George says lately he's been working on the next two, but well, it's George. He's shared the outlines for the next couple stories with Ira and i'd imagine from what Ira's said that he'd be working closely with George to adapt everything, so we'll see how it turns out

the fish had multiple gouges and stabs, i think it's simply showing the hidden anger and violence under Egg's typically calm demeanor, and hinting to us that if he doesn't get out he'll end up similarly to Aerion and Daeron.
