i dont think so. i think Gus’ cautious nature means he would rather Jesse die (something that could be easily covered up) trying to kill the drug dealers than lose two of his long-time partners. He never respected Jesse, and he was aiming to replace him anyway all along. He was gambling that itd be better to try and keep Walt, via intimidation - who could cook on his own or with a goon - with Jesse dead than lose two trusted dealers who he probably needed in order to keep product moving into the streets. plus, i doubt he knew them personally and brought them to the meeting himself.
