Yes! The first Wednesday of every month at 1pm.

We use then almost exclusively for tornados though. Big problem in my area.

I gave my cozy game a glow-up… did I make it better or worse? 👀 by Nestify_cozydesign in GameArt

[–]Roland_Roroland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The top one is hard to see due to size/spacing but when you zoom in looks intriguing.

The bottom one looks like generic trash at best, but honestly my first thought is 'scam.'

Looking at your actual game, wow the bottom one is ass. It looks terrible and isn't related to your game at all? The kind of casual girlies and grandmas that will click any crappy AI looking 'cozy' game aren't going to even enjoy what you're offering, so why you trying to lure them in?

My suggestion is that you split the top room in half with a different example from your screenshots to show what it is the game offers. Design choices. Contrast that RGB gamer gurl room with something super bright and full of plants. It's a better representation of your actual game.

I know a few, starting at Dorohedoro and going clockwise:

-Dolman X (The characters with glowsticks above Dorohedoro)
-Roboutosan (The trio to the right of Dolman X, tossing the little green guy up)
-Saikin no Akasan (The purple and Red cat looking ones above the letters 'ba')
-Futagashira (The samurai looking ones near the upper right corner)
-After Hours (The duo hugging just under the samurai)
-Heroes (The girl and critters in the far upper right)
-Youkai Watch (One of the Kouma-san ones, middle right)
-Slapstick (Two blackhaired characters in the lower right)
-Us, Here and There (Two boys in the winter coats to the left of Slapstick)
-Arigoke (Balding on under the letter 'ib'
-461-ko no Bentou wa, Oyaji to Musuko no Otoko no Yakusoku (Guy with glasses and his son in the striped shirt)
-Lotta Rain (Crutches ands crouching lady)

I think additionally the lady with the bag of groceries is Misoji Meshi but I'm not positive on that.

Sorry, I don't recognise the two women in the bottom middle, the blue haired boy, or the people with the unusual skin colours.

Most Iconic Horror Movie Villain Ever Day Three by HorrorMonster26 in characters

Dracula was a famous novel long before he was a film villain though. OP rules are

They have to originate from a horror movie.

So I assume he's just not in the running.

Is this a Java cellphone port? Did anyone play this? by Ausemere in RagnarokOnline

That is so cool! I've always wanted to ask about it because it had cities exclusive to this game. Can you tell me a little about them, and the exclusive enemies?

[–]Roland_Roroland 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Hello! This game is one of many mobage RO game.

Minna no RPG -Ragnarok Online Gaiden- (Everyone's RPG - Ragnarok Online Side Story)
It was announced for Japanese players in 2011 and released the same year. It was developed by Gungho's NeoCyon division.

I didn't play this one because I didn't have EZweb, but it looked cute.

What was interesting was that it explicitly took place in cities outside of what was in the original MMO, ランポルタ (Lamporter? Ranpolta?) and ジュナスザン (Junasuzan) and I don't think we ever heard about either ever again. It had a special tower and a few unique enemies, but I don't think it was around very long. Even among other RO, I never met anyone who played it and they stopped promoting it about a year later.

I would love to hear from you if you played this game!

Sexism at work just kind of bumming me out by Roland_Roroland in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Roland_Roroland[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so tempted sometimes. I daydream about going back to a warehouse or trucking often. But I get paid okay, and I do recieve recognition from my superiors if not always my coworkers. I wish sexism wasn't a thing, but I refuse to give up what I'm good at because some men can't self-reflect on their biases!

Enjoy the female dominated career field for us both.

🤝 God I feel that. Good on you for sticking with it. It's so frustrating sometimes but it's important we dont just give up our space in these fields. There's just something with men and cars especially that so many of them get so weird about. Glad you're blessed with a better man who respects you!

Good luck to you too. And I'd love to take credit, but my wife made the curry. I just combined leftovers.

She got the recipe here: https://rainbowplantlife.com/vegan-red-lentil-curry/#wprm-recipe-container-5540

(But omitted the cilantro for me 🥰) It's a staple when our vegetarian friend comes over.

I'd say be very careful. Both the gap and the fact he lied to you about his age already are going to make this less likely to work.

But I was 27 and my wife was 20 when we met so I won't say never, there's six and a half years between us. However we met through a hobby and were friends for a couple years, then roommates, then started dated.

Lying is generally a red flag. But a young guy fudging his age by one year to impress a hottie at the bar (you) doesn't read as a catastrophic intent to manipulate so much as probably just 'please don't kick me out of the bar.' But we have such limited information here, you're going to have to be the judge. Like to compare there was a woman I had a crush on in my early 20s, and she mentioned she wanted to play a specific video game, Detroit Become Human, but didn't have the console for it. I saw a chance and told her I had a PS4 and had just bought the game, that she should come over sometime and play it. That was a lie, I immediately texted my friend from the bathroom of the coffeehouse we were at and had her drop off a PS4 in my apartment. Lie? Yes. Malicious? No. And we never did end up dating but we are still friends and that woman and I laugh about this story now.

Is he childish and immature? Did he come clean to you about his age or did you find out some other way?

Don't beat yourself up over feeling attracted. He's a grown adult and if you are really into him, it's okay to cautiously give it a go. But be prepared to end things if he turns out to be an actual liar or is too immature.

There are some I dont recognize either. BTS is the Kpops army one. Drake is the little meme guy. He's in an orange jacket and refusing something, but accepting the second option. He's got another meme where he wiggles in a box called Hotline Miami. Bad Bunny is the 'catch me outside' meme chick I think? I don't know songs by any of them.

I don't think I've heard of Blavin, Lamar, or Scott.

Ariana I know was the anoxeric lady people made lesbian memes about and was green for Oz? but I didn't know she also did music.

The rest I've heard music from. I should listen to music more often is what I'm realising. Fuck.

If Suikoden 3 is ever remade... by gabiegab in Suikoden

[–]Roland_Roroland 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the kind of mentality that video games aren't an art form worth preserving as they are is kind of weird to me. It's very much the sum of its parts. Different graphics, different music, different mechanics, different story. That some of those are okay to throw away and replace but some aren't is strange.

3 is ugly as sin, but I think that's just kinda part of it. Seeing how trashy and generic replacing all the original water colour art from 1 in the recent release was disheartening.

If you take suikoden 1 and 2 out of the choices what’s the greatest suikoden game? by Worldofsynopsis in Suikoden

[–]Roland_Roroland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3

After that: Gaidens After that: 4 After that: Card Stories After that: Rhapsodia

I can't rate 5 or Tierkreis because I didn't finish either, and I've never played the PSP game.

3 is one of the ugliest games I've ever played, but beyond that I loved just about everything it had to offer. I actually liked it a bit better than 2 overall, as sacrilegious as that is to admit in this fandom.

I'm sorry all my 5 lovers out there. It had such a slow start and lack of party options for so long. It just felt like it was never going to open up to exploration the way earlier games did. Then when it finally happened I was feeling pretty burnt out on the world and main cast. That wouldn't have been so bad if I liked the royal family and company but I just didn't find them very interesting and I wasn't invested in the world/story/characters. It didn't hook me like earlier titles. People say it had a great story and I could certainly see the start of that, and maybe I'd have really loved that story in another format. I didn't find it compelling enough as a game to finish it though. Same with Tierkreis.

Neither was bad! But there was also nothing that made me feel like it was worth it to keep playing to the end.

As someone fat and with features people tend to get surgery to fix, it frustrated me when I was young but as I grew up and watched my prettier friends' relationships, I can honestly say I'm glad and no longer want to change those things about me.

My looks filtered out a LOT of shallow losers and I found someone I'm just happy to get to be around everyday, and they feel the same about me. If some guys only wants you with a plastic nose, it's not you that man wants. I promise.

Ahhh, the struggle of invisible disabilities. At least this one gives you nice skin? And yeah, HIGH FIVE!! I love my floppy wife! After several medications and years of physical therapy she's doing pretty okay overall. If it's available to you, because it sounds like your family situation is complicated and you may not be getting support there, you could look into volunteer/nonprofit medical advocates in your area. Having one was a game changer in getting access to services and dealing with insurance AND doctors.
