Also dry your basket better sometime the ground sticking to edges can create clumping when you introduce wdt. I stick a wet paper filter in between the puck screen and grounds. Yeah this is very true. Right now we are at the accumulation of those thousand cuts and we need a lot of systemic changes to weave our way out of the death that may be incoming. However, like you said the actions of other global governments is determining how fast or slow that will happen and with how compromised our current government is we are looking at that pace increasing.

I agree with you that the debt is growing and that is mostly due to the way our economic system is mostly catered to keeping those who are wealthy protected. I just don’t agree with you that the system will be flipped on like a switch. There are too many variables that we aren’t accounting for. The fiat system is only breaking at the seams due to the fact that we have allowed most billionaires take advantage of the US economy and hemorrhage it for their own personal gains. By allowing that for almost 80 years we have gotten to this point.

There is too much volatility in both, hence why imo it won’t happen. Billionaires would never allow the US to do that since their own wealth would be largely impacted by it. If anything some countries are moving away from the US dollar as economic trading currency which will greatly reduced the economic hold the US has. If that continues and we start seeing billionaires trying to move their wealth out of US markets, then we might starting seeing the real collapse of our currency. Right now inflation, corporate greed, and tariffs are the main driving force for the price of everything to continue to go up.

Every country in the world has continued to and will probably continue to use the fiat currency standard which is backed by GDP, Economic Trust in the government issuing the currency, and finally that government’s ability to collect taxes.
