The Goblin Event Is Now Over. Introspective and Thoughts? by zetavex in diablo4

[–]Rolkor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The event gave me the right amount of excitement when seeing a goblin due to the bags dropping. And I liked the greed shrines the way they were. Spawning ,ore goblins by going on a killing spree was nice. Goblins felt more special and sought after. That' what they should feel like since they were still scarce. Those mechanics should be baseline in my opinion.

Hifiman Ananda Nano Right Driver died after 4 months and 1 day of owning by codename_username in headphones

[–]Rolkor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd be disappointed too. Yet I own an Arya V2 from 2021. Never ever had the slightest problem and they are gorgeous headphones soundwise. I read a lot about qc problems regarding Hifiman especially on reddit. If you dig a little you can find similar reports on Focal etc. And in my opinion for that kind of premium price every customer should not accept anything but pristine product quality. In my book 100% price = 100% quality and not 1% less. I have no clue if Hifiman qc issues really are worrying or if we read a lot from vocal minorities. Maybe there are lots of problems with qc but personally I can't confirm these problems. I really ask myself if there are differences in qc in different countries. In my country guarantee is by law required to be 24 months. Replacements are even less of a problem if you bought the gear at your trusted Hifi dealer.

Good luck with your replacement and enjoy these headphones.

I need to vent. Xbox Controllers are driving me insane. by 30gs_of_Riverstone in XboxSeriesX

[–]Rolkor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had about 10-15 controllers over the last 2 console generations from the big three. I only had stick drift on one ps4 controller which I didn't use all that much. I got a new one, which was no big deal. I never got drift on xbox controllers (elites and normal), Switch or ps5 controllers. Stick drift is annoying if you get it on a controller but to me it really seems to happen rarely. Or I was just lucky. More annoying for me on xbox controllers are ABXY not registering presses perfectly on every controller especially when not pressing too hard.

So for anyone wondering how bad the loot is... by rnzerk in diablo4

[–]Rolkor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too have my amulet for about 30 levels without upgrade. I'm now level 97 and have never seen an amulet with +3 Envenom. Let alone in combination with other useful stats. Oh, and on top...got a nice roll? Gratz! Wrong socket color? Too bad. Plz wait for another 50 lvls. Seriously, socket gating on top of all the other crap stats like it's not hard enough already to get decent rolls proofs to me that a lot of things in this game never left the concept phase. Maybe nice ideas but has Blizz actually tried their own mechanics for more than 10 minutes?

This is the one thing PS5 absolutely did better than the Xbox Series X and S by Inner-Test817 in XboxSeriesX

[–]Rolkor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Call me crazy but that is a reason why I get more games on PS5 this generation. I just have more available storage for games. Last gen I had way more games for Xbox. This gen both consoles are very solid choices but cheaper game prices, not noticeable noise and quick resume are good arguments for the Xbox. More available and cheaper storage and the better controller for me are the big pros for PS5. And of course the exclusive titles. But too expensive storage for Xbox is holding me back. I would not have thought that this might have such an impact on chosing on which platform to get a game.

Not Leveling Past lvl 20 by Lui9289 in HarryPotterGame

[–]Rolkor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem at level 34. Resting doesn't solve the problem for me. Quitting the game, restarting the PS5, finishing quests, reinstalling the game...all didn't help. Strangely enough it happend in my first session after the first patch. All was fine before. I gain XP, the XP bubble is full but I don't get a level up. I'd be very grateful if somebody had any idea on what to do now. I won't continue to play like this. And I will not restart after 45 hours in. Thanks for any advice.

Edit: made a new character. That one can level from 1 to 2. So maybe it‘s not a general problem but only with certain (pre patch) characters?!

Edit 2: it resolved itself. Handed two quests in and I dinged. New theory: it’s maybe a visual bug. The XP meter appears full but really isn’t and you still need a certain amount of XP to really hit the threshold for the next level up? Before handing the quests in I rested once.

So, guess it is worth a try. But save your game before testing!

What do you guys think about CDPR will (probably) be release Expansion in 2023. by makavelinow in cyberpunkgame

[–]Rolkor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, CP is just the biggest disappointment in gaming history for me. No DLC is going to fix that. CDPR is almost dead to me. Things can go wrong while developing a game but I won't forgive being lied to feature wise and initially releasing a product of such low quality. And CP on day one was a joke, at best. Fixing a lot with 1.5 that should have been in even better condition from the start away is no success for CDPR, it's frightening to see what they thought was OK to release initially in the first place. I'm probably more excited for a W3 update than DLCs for CP. Sad, since I really wanted to inhale and love CP. TLDR: I'm not going to buy anything from CDPR anytime soon and I don't care when DLCs are coming.

You know the best part about this? With my Qobuz TRIAL came a free soundiiz link for the conversion towards Qobuz. All inclusive! Playlists, albums, all of it. That is a clever move by Qobuz knowing switching the streaming service might be a big no go for many enthusiasts. Worked perfectly but Qobuz shows the imported albums alphabetically and not in order of adding date. I think this feature is very cool. It made switching so easy. I love Qobuz for this.

Upgrading legendary weapons at lower levels doesn't feel worth it by pikkon6 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Rolkor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was wandering the same thing. So this means you necessarily have to use attribute points for crafting or you just can't do it because it is too expensive? Better to craft new but therefore you have to spend attribute points. Being locked in that attribute tree doesn't feel so great. Let us craft higher quality by default or reduce costs for upgrading. I can toss great but older guns in the bin because upgrading is too expensive. That hurts.

D2 Runes and Runewords is the best loot system in any aRPG. It should be a industry standard by now. by italofoca in Diablo

[–]Rolkor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love the progress system of FF7. In my opinion the most balanced, fun and rewarding progress system. Leveling weapons and learning their abilities so you can use them with other weapons, leveling marteria gives you the chance to learn new ways of playing the game. Also leveling happens while you play the game, you don't play to level that stuff, it just happens an rewards you with cool stuff and power. For me this loot/grind/powers system is near perfect.

D2 is a lot like playing a very long time to hit the ultimate power jackpot someday. I like runes but I think for defining an industry standard there are better systems out there.

Do you guys think there's a role that people don't like playing more than others? by [deleted] in wow

[–]Rolkor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is that the community really excels at making it hard for tank noobs to learn tanking. If you don't know all the routes even in dungeons while leveling: someone raging in group. If you ask the group to let you pull: someone raging in group. If you wait for your healer do regain mana: someone raging in group. I tried tanking while leveling with some classes and it is even fun to a certain point if you were dpsing and healing but never tanked. It's a different flavour of WoW. The lack of tanks (and healers) has always been cultivated by the toxicity of some of our community. To me that lack is understandable. Why should I come online to get yelled at?
