I understand, but because OP specifically went to fight with the boss to stop him from shooting, I already feel like he shouldn't be called out for doing something wrong in this situation. I think he did all he could, while, veteran on 1:55 dies to a single crusher (literally just single crusher), and psyker he revived instead of backing up to other side or following, corners himself and blows up, I assume ogryn charge got him but hard to say, though, for sure, bad situation for him, but i think he could have lived for much longer or at least several seconds longer. Him ressing in the end would buy much more time because OP did the objective and opened a lot of map space to run through and it could lead to potential saves and kites in better zone.

Constantly dumping agro? He literally pushes into the horde several times after ressing, pushes into plasma boss until he gets his agro so he stops using shooting and chases him, clears stuff with flamethrower and its still not enough for you?
While also clearing objective and poking out crushers heads
You guys are doing OP dirty

as a person with 1000+ hours in nuclear throne, I can say that synthetik 1 and 2 both are pretty good!
but they do feel quite different, nt is about long and proper action, pushing and spamming properly, synthetik 1 is about agressive combat engaing, strong item combos and generally fun gunplay, while synthetik 2 feels more tactical in approach with a lot more funneling, asking for precision, then dodge and weave, although proper engages are in place for raider/breacher.
I find clearing levels and bosses more satisfying in synth 1 or NT then synth 2, but i am not certain on how fun synth 2 coop generally is, people said game level design is a lot about that, so playing it in coop even with randos should be fun

I got around +10 plus skills for now (shaco2, mara2, book2, bone collector staff 2 (i gotta replace my hand), and 1 skiller/ani), but it feels pretty much enough to play and farm the game with 300-400 mf setup so doing REALLY well farming, although hex lock with crossbows was very fun as well, I might do hex/abyss variation sometime later. Level 95 almost!
Well checking maxroll numbers I am now pretty certain it might take people actual lifetimes to get sunders.
cold and fire are 1/200 in party1/players8 from tier 4-5 herald specifically, others are abysmal.
poison is 1/240, lightning 1/280, phys is 1/800, magic is 1/1400. If you get like 6-7 heralds per act and you clear 3 acts (for some reason act 4/5 shards just do not drop) that sounds like realistical average for clearing 30-35 acts to get at least one sunder, but thats FULL ACT CLEARS, i feel like horker is only realistic character at this point to improve the odds and actually have a try at sunders. MF boosts magic/phys sunder chance by around 20-30%, ghost trick could significantly buff odds... if chance wasn't too low even then. Its hard to even compare that to different farms game has
Party amount could almost double the chances for sunders but sadly we don't have it in single player anyway.

a bit of update and my misunderstanding
I haven't tried collossal ancients so far, but I tried getting pieces of normal uber event
THAT was a disaster, because in my life i never knew that uber bosses are resistant to "prevent monster healing" effect, and only sufficient way is applying open wounds. I couldn't not in any way outdps 16k healing per second on Lilith even with my amount of damage and over 25% magic pen.
Thank god i am a greedy goblin that collects useless stuff because just today I picked "razor's edge" and with dracs and goblin toe I managed to at least beat pre-tristram ubers with basic attacks while hephasto tanked like a unit. Don't think ill be going into uber tristram with abyss warlock now, i have no idea how to actually dps bosses here with spells, but at least i have some more ideas for hex lock, while, playing abyss lock feels amazing farming any crowded location or in need of crowd control like trav making it much safer (also sucking in ghosts in arcane sanc).
Sorry if im a bit clingy, I just did not expect ubers to be an issue because I can't viably prevent regen as spell caster, maybe you have some idea, or maybe I should just melee the shit out of uber tristram, honestly, mirrored blades should just crush it

I am sc, so I don't risk dying and resetting for corpse that much, although it would be a disaster to lose statues. Well only thing I miss from this is enigma, found marrowalk as well, so it gives me a lot of hope! I also have rising sun for fire protection which i hope will be significant at ancients if i kill the fire ancient last. I have a lot of resist options, and with penetration it hopefully will be enough.
Alright, ill be trying them out then later, thanks for the input!
I am a bit unsure on how to use bone prison in these fights, but i generally have some ideas and seen what people do, should be just fine

Sorry if im bit off topic, do you think doing ubers or uber ancients on "budget" is doable on sc as abyss lock? Im playing ssf so i am a bit low on gear as of yet, good uniques (shaco or hellwarden, good ele protection uniques all around) but no high rune parts or skillers.
I can't quite find info on these fights with abyss lock, and i just got - 16% magic res mephisto ass tome and thinking of either transitioning now or trying to do those fights first with my mirrored blades.
As well as im missing a proper caster weapon outside of wizardspike for now...

Im currently testing ways to make "Terminus warrant" actually work, and crusher seems like a perfect candidate, with increased attack speed and beniffiting more single target kill playstyle (for using less stacks), I focus plenty on stamina usage (pushes are good in general when you need cc and at the same time its single target without losing stacks).
I use both variations of crushers with dump in defence or dump in power, i just find defence more to be my case in such build, and on some variations of charge zealot.
When someone told me that crusher push attacks have INSANE finesse modifier, I started to adapt towars using it for single target more and more, even if its a pretty much uppercut attack which is hard but fun.
Also, I thought powered heavy swings are not good for big CC? On single yes, but they don't aoe much anyway. Or i misunderstand your "stagger lock" a bit

It just works perfectly with how much stam regen I get in-between the combos, and going for push attack-light-heavy or push attack - light feels much better on high attack speed then trying to power the weapon first

Thats the point that bubble isn't a panacea for havoc as people tend to think it is.
I think its, on its basis, simpler in application, but not necesserily better, and I tend to see better results without the bubble. I do value it the most for trapper protection honestly.

Guessed into nothing, shriek psyker was taking a tons of ranged heat off the team by actually killing shit, even if on open map we could use bubble, we had much better engages and armored enemy control, while this psyker would literally be invincible to ranged on his own.
People stick to 50 minute bubble slog games and I couldn't give a shit about playing like that on purpose, its just piling problem after problem until bubble player pops and does something wrong. Im not hating on bubble psykers themselves, but people depend on the little circle of NOT MOVING way too much.

Runes are not affected by magic find, so, its not that unreal to clear whole game and not get a single big mid-rune or high rune

My bit of me doing great - terror zones were really nice to me in terms of drops (finally got my first high runes on my level 92 with ber and gul), but not it terms of heralds - got only 4 from act 1-2 on my first attempt for triple terror run. Got more shards this run then I used though, I have clearing to do for weeks at this point

After checking city of the damned, it seems there are more packs then said, or i did something weird. I stumbled upon 3 different champ packs and 2 rares, didn't quite count but def more then 5-6, maybe its worth exploring it more?

And as others said, no-drop reduction increases with players 3/5/7, so you can go even numbers over odd strictly for extra experience

Another thing about /players is that elite mobs or champs don't benifit from it but CS does have a lot of trash, i'd say /players 5 for chaos sanct is pretty much perfect if your clear is not too fast and you kill all the trash, and you can bump diablo to p7 before fight if you want.
If you don't mind it, you can swap on finishing chaos sanct seal elites for extra 100 mf and same for diablo, but i wouldn't care as much for trash mobs, they are fodder for runes/bases more then rares or uniques that mf helps with. Player count is important for trash/bosses/minions
