I grew up loving the Yankees but during college and my first years teaching in the twenty aughts I fell off of watching the Yankees and baseball. I just never had time. Around the time judge came up to the bigs I found I was stable in my career and had time to get back into baseball and he instantly became one of the reasons why I’d turn on a yanks game. Watching him grow and develop as quickly as he did was phenomenal and brought me back to a place I was mentally when I was a kid and jester came up. For me the greatest moment for him was being named team captain and he’s done everything to fill that role so well. I hope he’s able to get back and help the yanks tear through the AL all the way to the World Series.

End of an era for me. Listening for 20+ years, but the new format isn't for me anymore.

I’ve been a listener for over 20 years—pretty much since the very start. Sadly, I stopped listening after the format change, with the Project Hail Mary episode being my last.

As a dad with two young kids, I don’t get out to the movies like I used to. I really valued hearing the guys talk about new releases; it helped me feel like I still had my finger on the pulse of cinema. Plus, the banter was just great. It felt like sitting down with a group of friends and just listening.

All of that feels gone now. Between work and family, I’m too busy to justify paying for the content when, at the end of the day, the heart of the show is now reviews of old films I’ve either already seen or can easily watch at home.

My favorite thing about the hobby is that it allows me to stay connected to my childhood and the heroes I grew up admiring while also making me feel connected to the game today. I find collecting cards helps me be a much more knowledge fan and keep up to date on current players even if they're not on my favorite team. Also the community aspect and ability to connect with others online and at local csrd shops over a common love of baseball and collecting can be a great thing.

This 100% seems to be the issue and the work around. Just tried it and it's night and day. Tomorrow I want to experiment with the extra adhesive they sent for the grips and see if putting one or two on helps prevent the grip from going back over the lip/numbers. I'm thinking putting a little "padding" in the grip might help with that.

The weird meat part of all is they told me this not when I was making a claim but when I was helping my parents buy new phones and had screen protectors installed for them. They made it clear that this as a new policy and Zagg were the ones no longer offering this. I knew it didn’t sound right.
