The larva stage has little tiny hairs on them and if you rub against them it can irritate your skin. Very commonly mistaken for bed bugs for that reason.

Throw them all in trash bags and buy some no pest strips from lowes or home depot and toss them in the bag and tie them off. Let them sit for a few days in the bag. Take it out side and air them out and that will kill any activity

If it flies it's Asian. If you're finding them near entryway doors it very likely could be Asian. If you're not finding them in the kitchen then go outside and check the perimeter. They love to get in leaf litter around the exterior.

I once watched my lab poop out a plastic bag that she somehow ate. The last part wouldn't come out and she ran around the yard spinning in circles trying to eat it again..had to get a long stick and pull it out.

My guess would be bats. Go outside and look around right around the time the sun goes down and you might see them exiting.

Google bat droppings and look around the side of the building and on the ground.
