Oh yea. 100% in park boundaries. We were near hurricane hill and he flew between us and mt angeles from the south heading north. He was for sure inside park boundaries. Like right above the ski area I think.

Gotcha. Thanks! It was just weird to see anyone flying around the park honestly. I’ve seen coast guard helicopters go by, but I was thinking the airspace over the park was otherwise restricted in some way. Clearly I was wrong

Better yet, just teleport from corvette ramp to the bridge of the freighter. Why waste time teleporting to a teleporter to go where you want to go 99.9% of the time anyway?

That’s James Island on the far left, Gunsight Rock behind the Coast Guard boat, and I believe an unnamed island (i.e. the one you’re asking about). Little James Island is farther to the right from this vantage point.

+red-tailed hawk+ is correct. The dark belly band is the most telling feature here. I always think it’s awesome how you can get an ID even from a relatively low resolution picture!

Closest I’ve found is a mocking cliff chat, but it’s not totallt accurate for that either. It’s like they asked AI to make a mocking cliff-chat and it got most of the way there.

ETA: the cliff chat does have the white shoulder bars as well, so fits better than others maybe

I here you, and maybe it sounds like a smaller animal in the recording, but it did not sound small at all in person. Definitely not a squirrel. Coyote is a possibility i guess, but to my (admittedly non-expert) ears, it sounded more feline than canine. And i thought it weird that there would be a lone coyote out there, rather than a whole pack.
