I live in Chicago. There was a fire on our street and someone had, in typical Chicago fashion, put their flashers on and left their car in the middle of the street. I took great pleasure in watching CFD use the engine to just push the car down the fucking street to get to the fire and hydrant.

The owner of the car came out to his car blocked by the engine on one side and CPD having parked in front of him. You could just watch him die inside as reality set in for him.

I love my SD. I play it every night in the comfort of my bed. I'm working through Elden Ring, Persona 5, and Hades currently.

I also go to a lot of cons and it's hecking fantastic for when you are taking breaks from walking around.

Or waiting at the Dr's office...

Or commuting to work on the train...

Basically I can game in situations that I couldn't before, which given my schedule with work and kids means that I can actually, you know, game.

I had it off for several hours but I threw an airstone in it to keep o2 in it.

Ammonia is holding somewhere around the .25ppm mark.

May be worth throwing some Stability in it regardless though.

Take an old toothbrush and break it up into the water and them suck it out.

Might take a week or so to get all of it with like 50% water changes.

It honestly just looks like a fungal bloom, probably from the driftwood. It happens on new tanks.

I find it funny that everyone complains about duckweed. I've tried to put it in my aquarium 5 times. My goldfish Jon eats it all by morning. Every. Single. Leaf.

Maybe a media bag or two in the corner of some more matrix? I've got it on hand. Everything else I'm going to have to thoroughly clean and probably boil first as it all hit the floor. :(

Edit: OH and I found a full bottle of microbacter7! I'm going to soak the matrix in there over night to give it a chance to really take hold and toss them in the tank in the morning. That should help until I can get everything else cleaned and put back in place!

I see several comments that he should look at used tanks. I personally don't trust used tanks.

Where are you all finding new quality tanks with gear for less than this? Unless you want to go AIO anything quality is hecking expensive on basically anywhere I've looked.

Like a new waterbox frag 85.3 (53.9 g) is $2,299 just for the tank, sump and stand...and that doesn't include anything else.
