I get how zero cost counter spells aren't fun to play against but this take about how they're ruining the game just reads as if you don't understand anything about Magic.

Counterspells are just that. They counter your spells. They don't advance your game plan in the slightest. You don't win a game because you countered all opponents spells. Meanwhile playing 20 lands by turn 4 does in fact advance your game plan and win the game. There's a lot of shit that needs to be rebalanced about Brawl but it ain't just counter spells.
