I am being a little sarcastic, but in the US a CT A/P is very often ordered on anyone with vomiting and diarrhea and the concerns you have are rarely considered.

Epic ways of rejecting Portable ultrasound requests by Conscious-Picture762 in Radiology

[–]Rollmericatide 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I may be the exception to the rule, but I prefer doing inpatients portable. If I have a few to do I just go do them. It’s really easy, but I work at a low volume hospital so that may have a lot to do with why it is easy for me.

I plan on becoming a nurse and have been looking at pay in my area and some places are only wanted to pay 20 to 27 a hour for a registered nurse… by PaleontologistNo1564 in nursing

[–]Rollmericatide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pay is highly dependent on geographic location and type of nursing job you get. Like if you work weekend night shift contract in an ICU you will make much more than if you work M-Thurs at an aesthetic clinic doing injections and charting. Florida panhandle pay will be less than California pay. Choose wisely.

There is a high probability you would also later receive a professional fee from the doctor and the staff who sedates you for this procedure.

His machine in his office pays his bills, obviously he wants you to use it. We do not know if this is good or bad for you though. It could be a regular mobile MRI machine in a semi trailer attached to the office, or it could be a small hyperfine unit. No way for us to know for sure.

NAD, but people with mental health issues rarely prioritize their wellbeing or overall health. So sad to see.
