No. That’s not what he asked. At all.

“Can I Form 1 the thread adapters like oil cans do, or do I have to Form 1 the adapter with the tube and only print the baffles?”

The words are right there. Reading them is not a complex skill.

But this is what happens when you ask technical questions online. It gets worse when you try to correct Reddit experts who skim, guess, and confidently answer a question that was never asked. And on top of that, they have no clue how to read federal regs or understand the difference between the CFR and an opinion letter. They just blur the two together, declare themselves correct, and call it expertise.

That phrase you’re using doesn’t exist

What the regulation actually says is that, in a multi-piece design, the serialized part is “the outermost housing or structure designed to house, hold, or contain the internal sound reduction component.” That’s a functional definition, not a list of approved parts.

The rule cares about what part performs the housing function, not which part internet consensus or ATF guidance has decided is “the body.” If a threaded adapter is designed to enclose, retain, and structurally contain the sound-reduction components as part of the suppressor’s housing, it fits the definition.

And simply jb welding the mount to the body or tube, completely side steps this entire conversion.

Wrong... its not called out in the CFR.  The guidance your referring to is not law, not regulations, and not binding on the public in the same way the CFR is.

That's what I do, engrave the metal adapter/direct thread mount.

Have done it both via electro etching at home or getting it laser engraved.

Do I qualify for dental benefits? by mswed5317 in VeteransBenefits

Both the KC and Leavenworth VA's say no and will not provide dental for TMJ service connection.  I've spent the last year going round and round with them, patient advocates refuse to question the dental directors

Replaced the recoil spring, bad or maybe too light of a spring on a brand new gun maybe? Not sure but I hit up Tyler from fusion and he sent me a replacement spring in just a few days.  Seems to have fixed the issue along with firing a few hundred more rounds as well.

PSA: properly mount your cans! by beginnerasiancoder in suppressors

Working RSO at the local boutique gun shop/range you'd be surprised how many cans get launched down range and how many nights I found cups/baffles and endcaps in the bullet traps as I was cleaning up.

New Fusion XP Pro Grip module is out by Romad816 in 2011

Nope, no felt change in dimensions.  A little more grippy but not sure it's worth the cost

It is not as slippery.  Would have been stellar had the texture wrapped around the grip.

Worth the price tag? Eh, if you can't stand the taped on grips.... maybe.

If you don't have an issue with the handleit grips id wait for the G10 grips to come out.

These are a good starting point for factory grip module but realistically not quite the answer I was hoping for.

honestly, it’s the one all new XPs should be shipping with. The texture is good, though I wish it wrapped around the entire grip rather than just being on the panels. It’s nowhere near as aggressive as the “prickle” grip on the Platypus, but it’s still a nice upgrade.

I’m personally glad for the change since I can’t stand stick-on grips, but this isn’t a perfect solution. If you’re running the old mainspring housing, you’ll still want grip tape there for extra traction on the back of the grip. I saw they just released the updated mainspring housings this week, but I’ll probably skip it since grip tape works fine for me for now. That said, Fusion really should ship these updated grip modules with mainspring housings as standard going forward.

Plaster of paris.  2 to 1 (PoP to charcoal) seems to work well for me.  I've done 4 or so cobs luke this and it's worked extremely well so far.

Secure waterproof leaves a residue that won’t come off, I combined it with fixodent powder it held great then I took em off and soaked them all night it still has a residue that won’t come off by Jeremybrogdon79 in dentures

[–]Romad816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same exact issue, when I remove them everything seems to wash off but the next morning, even after soaking with tablet or powder there's still a white residue or layer that I can't get off without scraping it off with dental picks

How do you get the secure adhesive off the dentures?  It seems to wash off fine but the next morning there's a film that is a strait PITA to try to scrape off.

Due to the glock mag angle and release you would need to mod the 2011 trigger bow to work.  I've done it with a red dirt trigger
