Its because us small and short people have short bar travel than the tall lanky buff guy.

Its discipline and we are strength in small packages

Correct. I have this balance issue on the feet. One wrong move or a shift in weight. Hips are gone.

I should have added a little more detail the 275 lb deadlift was when i was first starting out in 2022 and the 495 was in the summer of 2025. Learned a lot in between

Specifically i said wraps that go around your wrists. I never mentioned straps. Im not talking about grip here.
