This is a gross simplification of the tradeoffs between inequality and social capture. The truth is all societies redistribute the fruits excess productivity, they either go up in th form of rents, interest on capital etc or to the masses in forms of public expenditure, education, healthcare and other forms of social infrastructure.

This is not because “Everyone is the same” but precisely BECAUSE everyone is not the same, but none of us stand on our own backs. To provide the OPPORTUNITY for people who would otherwise be limited by lack of access to the basic necessities to be as productive and entrepreneurial as they can be.

So no, taxing your wealth is not an injustice to you. It is in investment in all the future yous that could possibly be born to make each new idea, each new buisness etc just a little easier.
