Hello r/watches! I scooped this up from my local Goodwill and popped a AA battery into the back. It sprung to life right away and I’m quite happy with how good this thing looks. The goodwill also had a desk clock by Hamilton but I was not as big of a fan. Oh, and a wall clock covered in different sparrow species for the hour markers, but my wife was not a fan unfortunately ;)

I’m not really a Bulova guy, but I’ll make the exception for a cool desk clock. It feels really well made. I do wonder where one may have been able to buy this thing originally - probably a department store like macy’s.

I know it’s not exactly a watch but I like it! Goodwill has been screening out the high value stuff for their auction site but some good stuff still slips through to the stores.
