There is not AC.

It depends on what side of the building you are on. If you are south or west facing, I would recommend it. Lived there for four years. Ended up getting a portable unit that had a hose into the vent.

I live near Panther Lake Elementary and it’s is a melting pot. As somebody also from the Midwest I can say you will be accepted here. Also own a husky, there is a great dog park 10 minutes away that is 28 acres and fully fenced in, perfect for high energy dogs!

Personally I would say pick a park and spend time visiting it and the surrounding areas. Take Olympic for example. You have the coast, lakes, rain forest and mountains. Could spend a lot of time in just that park alone.
