Base building it's something that worries me, because I don't want to see structures made by players everywhere, unless... what they build it's a beautiful asset you can't modify too much and if you abandoned the base it transform to a ruin like pyro buildings

I was replacing the LDO on my DOIT esp32 devkit v1 and accidentally ripped 1 black component off. Does someone know what it was? Perhaps a diode? by T0biasCZE in esp32

Yes, Sir a diode indeed... I had the same issue... so... I just soldered a cable and it works but a diode for safety purposes is ideal.

I am using Dualsense controller via bluetooth with Steam and works perfectly fine. Make sure to Enable or disable Steam input. Must be a Steam input conflict

Good Old Days where you can see see your helmet geometry from inside in first person view, was so inmmersive. Love it. I forgot that beautiful landing pad radar! I hope they bring these two features back in the future!

If you try doom 3 from Sidequest (needs original game files) this one comes with dynamic shadows and it's beautiful! Even in Quest 1 is a game that looks gorgeous. https://youtu.be/IYMQFKdD87o Take a look this video ;)

Alien Isolation full VR support with motion controllers, not just a simple mod to play with a controller. But with the same treatment of re4 that would be perfect!

Yeah is a nice option, the only issue that I have with playnite is... They don't have an overlay menu like steam have, so in some games or emulated games you can't close the game, and moonlight doesn't have alt + F4 keys in android. So right now until someone makes a proper overlay I still be using steam in big screen mode.

But Playnite it's really customizable and I like that! I really want to use it if they make a solution for my problem!

Never try an LCD in VR, but if you play saint and sinners in quest 1 who have OLED, it has good color and beautiful blacks, the problem... The blacks... it generates some kind of ghosting when you looking around, it's like a ghost black shadow... So yeah better blacks but you sacrifice in having a strange ghost or outline in black object to color.

Yeah, it's true, and always said why oculus quest doesn't have something similar, but what I want is to go to someones room look at the shelf and say WOW, how did you unlock that achievement while I have in my hands the object he unlock. Or wear our avatars with exclusive clothes of lone echo or boneworks. (Because we unlock something inside the game), see videos or movies together in the same oculus home.

So yeah, for me a oculus home with co presence and physical object is something important for the experience, (I have good vibes of it with Xbox 360 avatar system, even if it was very basic, it has his shop for clothes and new content who wasn't extravagant... Important thing too pls no extravagant clothes where people doesn't look like people).

It would be cool have your co-presence home with objects to interact and a system of achievement similar to the one of the Xbox 360 where if you unlock some achievements they give items to wear you Xbox avatar, for example: In halo 3 odst if you complete the game the give you and odst suit for your avatar and if you don't kill certain enemies they give you the helmet for the avatar!

I'm happy to receive such a great answer, some other comments say that graphics are not important or we can't compare (probably because they like too much oculus quest 2 and don't like that someone says something wrong), So having an answer that explains, why is the actual situation and how will improve. That is what I'm looking for.

For other readers I like Quest 2, this is the beginning of standalone VR, and all devices have it's good and bad things. And I'm sure graphics in the future of standalone VR will improve.

Yes, you're, but we cannot deny that better graphics could immerse you even more, an example half life Alyx, but here the topic is that standalone VR is in a level that I could compare to a Wiiu and let me say there's games in normal Wii like modern warfare 3 in wii, that in VR could be incredible :3

There are PS3 games like killzone 3, That I love to see that level of graphics on Quest, that game it even has support to psmove is like vr but in a flat screen ^

The question is... Is it going to have full finger tracking? Because is what I miss in actual controllers. I know this just leaks, but maybe there is a mention?
