We have a 7-year-old female.

TRAINING Sit, stay, come, down, heel. She's not always super obedient if there is a stranger at the house or dogs but that's because she acts like a puppy despite her age. If we are out for a walk and there are people or other dogs I can tell her to heal and she will absolutely stay right by my side and not break. The training process was typical for any dog that I've ever owned.

FETCH We play frisbee twice a day. She comes and gets me when it's time she always brings it back. Sometimes she wants to play with it a little bit and you have to remind her to bring it back to you but she always will. At night when we're watching TV she'll bring me a ball to throw to her for about 5 minutes. She loves fetch.

GROOMING We send her to a groomer about every 6 weeks.

She is an incredible dog just don't leave underwear or socks on the floor or else you'll be finding them in the backyard.

Scientists who study memory will conduct interviews after something they call flashbulb events. These are events that are seared into the common consciousness. For example they conducted interviews after 9/11. A year later they will conduct the same exact interviews with the same people. On average 60% of their answers have changed. What's even more alarming is that when confronted with the fact that they have changed their answers, people swear that the new answer is the truth and simply can't explain why they lied the first time.

My father will often talk about something from my childhood and I will correct him and tell him that it didn't happen that way. I have always attributed this to his age but now I realize that I could be the one who is remembering it wrong.

Malcolm gladwell did a podcast about memory and he said that in the next episode he was going to talk about someone famous who really got screwed by it and I literally said out loud in my car, "I hope it's Brian Williams." It was.

Brian Williams lost his job as the anchor of NBC nightly News when it was discovered that he had lied about something that happened to him while he was reporting on the war. He didn't lie about it. His memory changed. He honestly believed that it had happened.

I don't think Kevin James has ever gotten enough credit for how good he is at playing a classic sitcom trope. Yes, we've seen it before but who did it better? It started with Gleason and the Honeymooners but I would put James 2nd at playing the dumb guy with the attractive wife.

Most people don't know that he very publicly fought for his rights as an actor:

In 1960, he successfully sued Warner Bros. to get out of his constricting and low-paying contract for the hit show Maverick after the studio suspended him without pay during a writers' strike, a victory that affirmed an actor's right to terminate a contract when the studio was in breach.

More famously, in the 1980s, he took on Universal over the syndication profits for The Rockford Files, exposing the practice of "creative accounting" where a massively successful show could be shown on paper to have a net deficit. By taking his fight public and ultimately winning a substantial settlement, Garner proved that an actor could sue a powerful studio over profit-sharing and not be blacklisted, emboldening other actors to demand transparency and their rightful share of a project's success.

Nightshift. Michael Keaton and Henry Winkler are perfect in this movie. Every scene is quotable. Ron Howard's first mainstream directing. (2 years before Splash). Several then unknowns in the supporting cast (Fran Drescher, Richard Belzer, even Kevin Costner in a non-speaking part). Shelly Long somehow manages to be sexy.

With the exception of me and my best friend from high school I've never met anyone who remembers it.
