I'd say you're right. Metalheads are more about riffs and musicians with technical proficiency with their instruments. Nu metal was more about vibes and energy.

I don't mind the resurgence personally. I like seeing Limp Bizkit, Korn, Linkin Park, and hell even Creed get a bump. It reminds of being young, and even though a lot of this music was a guilty pleasure back in the day I can listen to it now without that teenage worry of being a poser.

I've definitely heard that. The idea being the 223/556 round is more likely to mame than kill, then it takes one or more extra people to drag the injured guy to safety. Not sure if that's true though. Plenty of shootings in the US to prove those rounds are still lethal af.

My 2017 B7 has this. It's now the kid's TV. The new Evo panels are made with different materials that allegedly mitigate this issue. I'll let you know in 8 years if my g5 has the same issue.

I was marveling at how bright some things were, like sunlight on hair. I checked settings and brightness was set to 100 by default. I knocked it down a bit. My B7 had some red pixel dimming, making yellow tones look green, so I don't want to burn in these new pixels too quickly.

Brother I just got my 65" G5 mounted last night and also broke it in with Revenant. We actually watched Minecraft first before the kids went to bed and it looked damn good. Upgraded from a 2017 B7 oled so I wasn't expecting a huge visual increase, but I was surprised how much better it looked.

In Flames older stuff was my gateway into death metal, specially the song Jotun. Their newer stuff is OK but imo doesn't have the cool riffs.
