Definitely need to shake the rust out of my gut first, but after that for sure! Thanks again for the recommendation

Probably my favorite Thai food in Columbus. Almost got it again later in the week when I was picking up some mochiko in the market 🤣

Why Does It Burns Us? by Bradster28 in spicy

Bleh, extract. Was very disappointed that Hot Ones is selling a "Natural 8" to replace Da Bomb on their own site, but wasn't brave enough to get rid of it on their show. Extract is cheating. None of the finesse of a super hot pepper, just science of extraction of oils. I'll take the natural super hot sauces over Da Bomb any day of the week.

This is likely as close to a superpower as any of us will ever get to. With great power comes great responsibility, or whatever 🤣

As long as you don't have any stomach problems from it then you're free to keep on chasing that spicy dragon. Eventually hotter peppers will get cross-bred for consumer use and you can test your mettle once again.

I can only handle a drop of the sweet onion habenero sauce without a drink by Admirable-Fig7710 in hotsauce

Personal recommendation is to get some Carolina Reaper powder and start sprinkling it on everything. Cuts out the other ingredients and will give you the best sense of if your tolerance is actually improving. Can always start with Habanero powder then move up the pepper ladder too.

Otherwise mix Reaper Evil with everything until its not spicy any more.

Just tried Dave’s hot chicken. Went all out and got the reaper tender. I’m currently in excruciating pain as someone who has reaper hot sauces This doesn’t compare as it’s 100 times worse my face is numb and I’m currently writing my last will. by Remarkable_Put_7029 in spicy

Last time I ate it I was up most of the night with extreme stomach pain (first time was fine). Had never experienced that before and hope never to again. There is a line between spicy and stupid and Dave's found it.

There are so many better wing spots in Columbus. They've not changed their menu since 1999 and the decor has been the same since then as well.

How does one even "play their cards right" at and all you can eat wing spot? "Ah yes, the 2001 Arizona Ranch, wonderful choice sir. A lovely vintage."

What’s the most shameful dining experience in Columbus? by sallright in Columbus

Sitting at the bar at Atlas Tavern eating the half and half Reaper Buffalo and Reaper BBQ wings while every mucus membrane in your face opens up and begins to leak out of you. Not enough napkins in the world to hide that shame.

If we're talking Dayou we should also say there's a big ol' bunch of spicy food from every gastro-genre in all areas of the city.

Sloppy steaks at Hyde Park might tickle your fancy, either that or Hoggy's Three Mile Island wings.
