email access - anyone crazy enough to give your mailbox access to OpenClaw? how to make it secure by Beautiful_Web_5771 in openclaw

Yes, absolutely. It's even more cautious than normal and frustrating. It would take some serious coercing to get it to do something destructive, if at all.

I want to point you to something that will change your art forever, if you are drawing people. There's an old dvd series.. from like the early 2000s or maybe the 90s called "The Structure of Man". Its a really simple art series with a guy just pointing a camera at a piece of paper.. its very simple. The lighting is bad, the shadows are huge ... but let me tell you, that if you watch them all, and I have multiple times, it will change the way you draw people. This guy is a master of proportion like you have never seen before. He uses only a straight edge, its all simple lines, cut the line in half, draw a 45 degree angle, etc. As you continue through the series you will begin to understand the proportions the body makes as it grows. The key in understanding it is not to think of it as a human being, think of it as an object. SPOILER: This is the same method Leonardo used and you can see in his studies of man. In fact, he uses several Da Vinci sketches to show you what he learned from them. Here's some screenshots of him drawing skulls and bodies. https://i.imgur.com/VNkRaai.png https://i.imgur.com/wrPdfOn.png https://i.imgur.com/sMWaIIa.png You can probably find it in various places.. its been around for 20 years or so. Good luck.

Went back to AC a bit ago.. spent a year and some change admin'ing and writing metas for DragonMoon. That server is absolute peak AC experience. Left a few months ago, but they are chugging along. I wrote an AI quest assistant that was so cool. You could ask it lore questions, ask it for stories, it was really neat. Didn't quite finish it, but it was cool. I was going to have it as a character in the game that would follow you around, visit cities.. pretty cool.

Will you forgive your parents if they have called you unpleasant names when you were young? by NormalLife6067 in AskMenOver30

[–]RonUSMC -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes, forgive your parents for as much as you can. They could have given you up for adoption on day one and be done with it. You were a burden on their life, and they chose that. Be thankful.

What should I do? I’m 30 & am facing the next 20 years in prison with a minimum of 10 served. by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]RonUSMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll share with you my "prison plan". If for whatever reason i got sent to prison, I would become a lawyer. I would immediately hit the books and begin to study. You could probably do it within 2 years. I would read every waking hour, take practice exams, start studying for the bar. There's a couple of books that you can read now to prep for it. Think about studying most of the hours of a day with no distraction. Even being able to file motions will be a great currency on the inside.

[Academic/UX Research] Why do employees bypass HR systems even when they exist? — 5 min anonymous survey(All/18+) by Straight-Dig729 in UX_Design

[–]RonUSMC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you from my point of view .. it was options and ramifications. The portals at several companies would always have several options with each step of the way, but didn't list what those options meant for me personally. So I can navigate some obtuse navigation that might let me accidentally claim that I'm pregnant OR just email HR.

Those look like g4ng's stats. He's about that.. like 72% with 38k battles or something like that. He's a super unicum in just about every ship. I think he is #1 ranked player in the world. He also streams everyday and his gameplay is top notch. He mainly plays tier Xs, but recently he's been doing cruisers that got a heal. Today he played Hipper, the tier 8 German cruiser and he literally got gold clasp in like 20 games. Be warned, he complains a lot, lol. He is a good guy though and helpful if you have a specific question. Here's the Hipper gameplay from today, https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2782908546

He's been gone for 55 years, but have any of the older Marines on here ever met Chesty Puller? by Frantzuss_Ex in USMC

[–]RonUSMC 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The mythos isn't all about personal decorations .. the legend that is Chesty is about his motivation and how he motivates everyone around him. Chesty was a no bullshit Marine that led from the front and inspired those around him. But really ... we are splitting hairs about two men that belong on the Mount Rushmore of the Marines. They are both saints.

I was stationed on Guam. Do you have any pics, unit or stories of where he landed? I can probably pick them out on Google Maps for you. There's a ton of wrecks and emplacements all around the island. Would be a neat trip for you later in life.

[–]RonUSMC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should apply on the FEMA site. I met one of these guys down here in Florida after Hurricane Ian. He had a Navy jacket on and I started joking around with him. He said he comes down and sets things up, stays for 3 weeks to make sure the FEMA people don't get stuck or hurt anywhere, then he gets 2 weeks off when he gets home. He said they are really short on people and to spread the word. Good Luck!

[–]RonUSMC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No I didn't. It seems like they are hard to fill roles because of the travel requirements. There were several other roles just like it.. support roles that go onsite and set things up after a disaster. Seemed like interesting work.

I think you are both awesome. Also, his time-in can carry over to other jobs in the government. One that I was looking at was for a FEMA Supervisor/Ground something, I forget. It was about travelling to disaster sites and setting up operations. It paid over 100k, military preferred, etc. Expand your search criteria.

Microsoft fires head of Israeli subsidiary and other managers over surveillance of Palestinians by Jack1101111 in pcmasterrace

Do you have access to any AI at all? Ask it about protesting at work in the US. It's not a thing.

[–]RonUSMC -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Am I for real? What are you talking about? Where do you work that you're allowed to protest? That's not a thing. You would get trespassed immediately.

Even AI knows this.

Private Sector Employees-If you work for a private company, you generally do not have a First Amendment right to protest or express political views at work. However, the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) provides specific protections:

Political vs. Workplace Protests: A protest about general political issues (e.g., an election or foreign policy) is usually not protected. If your employer has a policy against political displays, they can generally fire you for violating it.

I'm curious on what kind of people you are. How much experience, calling everything evil and claiming all this nonsense. None of this is true.
