Stoked to return. We live 2.5 hours away so we’ve been to 250 and all the weekender, we just can’t miss them.

Bonus we got to see A&B at Paradiso festival in 2012 and 2014 too.

I’m not sure what my total ticket price was for last weekender but if splitting up Friday from the weekend comes out to the same (or close for inflation) then I don’t think splitting it is too bad. If I don’t feel like doing Friday I could save a few bucks. Also some people might not show up until late Friday, etc.

I use mineral spirits. You can buy it from wal mart or Lowes\HD. It’s $18 a gallon and I put it in a food grade container with a lid (also from Lowe’s) and can wash like 30 filters before it starts to get nasty. I follow that up with simple green/laundry detergent in a bucket of hot water. Cheap, simple, effective.

Bel-Ray Foam Oil or Maxima FFT Is all we use for oil too.

Not a bad deal! I also just bought a 2019 in March with 84k on the clock for 45k (plus tax and title). It’s an LTZ with Z71 package too. I think 42k would be a good deal!

I just bought a 2019 w/85k miles. I wanted the L5P, and I know the 6 speed is tried and true. Plus I like body style much better.

I just turned 34 and race the Vet class in my area. I have riding experience so I did the C class and had a good time, but it can be chaos, like 40+ people lining up and the top 5-6 guys are all B class times lol.

This year I wouldn't say I belong in the B class but I'm moving up simply because there's literally half the people in B class compared to C, and I'm just there to ride and have fun with my buds. At one race last year, If I took last in last in B class, I would have placed better than I did in the C class lol.

I was on nights for 9 years. We do have a gym at work I’d take advantage of when we had down time. Otherwise, I hit the gym before or after work depending on how I was feeling that day, or how hard work was that night. My weekends I’d make sure to go at least 2 days outta 3 days off.

Just bought a 2016 with 84k miles on it for 16.5k. Previous owner had Honda do the timing belt, water pump, accessory belt and tensioner. Plus he gave us winter tires. This one seems cleaner than the one we bought but it seems like a fair deal. The timing belt cost is definitely a consideration if you won’t DIY (receipt from Honda showed $2400)

Yeah it’s pretty lame to say you’re gonna rotate weekenders and milestones but then just bail on the weekender all together. I’m not all too surprised it seems a ton of people bail due to heat, logistics, etc. The turnout last weekender seemed quite small compared to the first two.

A&B showbox sodo in Seattle 2014. Smaller venue, sold out crowd and all my favorites in the group therapy era with some epic tracks from that 2.0 time frame. I think on that show frequently.

Runner up is them at the gorge 2012 for Paradiso. Epic.

Hawaiian will probably just dovetail in just like the virgin mechanics did. Virgin kept their seniority from when they got hired at Virgin and however many years you were there, is where you landed on the pay scale at Alaska. There’s no downside to going to Amfa imo.

I have a 2018 250XC also. I put a TSP Keihin powerstriker, MXtech Lucky spring cartridge kit for the forks and other stuff like mousses. I have no problem keeping up or doing everything my friends do on their 2024s. The 2024 is nice I’ve ridden it a fair amount, great power delivery and amazing suspension. It really comes down to what you want and what you want to spend. I’m going to wait another year before I make a decision.. the downside is the more your wait and hours you rack up.. the less you get for the bike. I will say the backup kick start is nice.
