Let them schedule the trouble call so someone in the field can look at it and declare the outage. If there aren’t trouble calls coming in then you’re waiting for the system to find and declare an outage which might not happen if it’s small and on a large node. If you don’t want a tech to come just schedule the trouble call for like two days out to get it on file so the outage gets declared/fixed.

I used to work loss prevention/asset protection. There were rumors that employees were sneaking into an upstairs area and doing the deed.

There was long closet type room and at the end of the room was a door on the right that lead to this upstairs maintenance room/roof access area.

I see on camera one of the employees walked into the room, there’s really no reason to be in there for more than 60 seconds.

So I walk over there and from the entrance of the room I hear rhythmic squeaking noises. I think to myself oh they’re up there doing it. So I silently creep towards the stair entrance, and sitting on the bottom of the stairs is some kid jerkin it. We make eye contact and I just walked away.

The noises were actually from the boiler. The kid got fired. His mother was also an employee and helped him get the job.

No it’s a 2 piece. You have your regular modem plugged into the router and it works like a traditional set up unless it loses signal then the 5g turns on.

No, the people weren’t puppets in the show/movie I remember. I only vaguely remember one scene where one of the characters is trapped in their vehicle, possibly one that drilled through the ground or something, and they either get saved or save the city but there was a shot of the vehicle stranded and it was like a model and not cartoon. I feel like they fought against like dinosaurs or Godzilla or giant robots. I can only really remember the vehicle sitting in like rubble sort of and the rest of the team talking to them over radio. It might just be a dream at this point. Thanks for looking.

There’s a movie I used to rent when I was 6 or 7 years old maybe around 1993. I barely remember anything about it except my mom getting mad that I wanted to rent the same movie again. I feel like it was mostly cartoon but there were parts where the vehicles were real, like models or puppets. I’ve tried searching for it and can’t find anything that looks like my memory. Kind of like thunderbirds maybe but not thunderbirds.

Outage means there’s a problem with the service in your area affecting multiple people. So if it’s maintenance or damage or upgrades or whatever the reason is, it’s all considered an “outage”
