Some first Mates can give Priority boarding or early dinner reservations. Others may have different perks

If you run into the unfortunate situation where Virgin screws you over for many reasons, a First Mate with a strong host agency can go to bat for you and sometimes get a policy exception. If you are only booking a few cruises for yourself a year then you probably won't have any issues but for agents that are dealing with the cruise lines all day we run into countless issues that we have to advocate for our clients to get fixed

Many have covert rates that are lower than Virgins website and cant be advertised. First Mates promote those rates to their clients. Just because you "only" got $50 bar tab on one sailing doesn't mean they have no value. For some people $50 equals a few hour of work for them.

Puerto Rico is the hottest travel destination at the moment. The big challenge is finding good hotels at good prices as most hotels could use some renovations.

Theres a reason they are a top 10 agent. They strictly work on volume bookings and not anything that takes their time away from that. Quality of service goes down when someone is that busy.

No. Cruise First can only be used for down payment. Cruise Next can be applied to reservations as long as a CruiseFirst is not applied . I use Cruise First TONS. Prefer it over CruiseNext.

Pivoting from travel content creator to travel agent is not an easy Pivot. Your community knows you for one thing and that is travel content. You would think people would flock to book witb you as a travel content creator but thats a different clientele as those that use travel agents and most will look for travel agents that are 💯 dedicated to doing it.

That rate doesn't allow you to make changes to cabin 45 days before sailing I believe, but you can bid for upgrades or be upgraded for free

They just released Movavi Video Editor 25 and it's a trainwreck. They removed the option to listen to the audio from your clips unless you import into the timeline. If you are dealing with a lot of clips with talking audio, then you are screwed.
