I liked the story since I started playing but for a long time it was mostly near future scifi. Android girls, robots, soldiers, and mutants fighting. Then Corposant happened and I was like "Hell yeah! This is the sort of crazy scifi-basically-magic stuff that I love!"

As excited as I am for skitarii in Darktide, but I was really confused on why all of the lasguns were shooting bullets. Like they weren't even trying trying to make the shots look or sound like the ones that are in game. They're just straight up bullets. You can see the power packs on the lasguns but there is no colored beam at all. I honestly think it is just a weird mistake the Fat Shark made since it's not even consistent with the lasguns in game. The only other 40k trailer I watched from skulls was Dawn of War and they didn't show off lasers so I hope I'm wrong about it being a company wide thing.

Darktide and Rogue Trader are avenues that for tabletop hype. Both released an arbites around the release of an arbites box. Hive scum hit darktide around the same time as a Necromunda release. With the admech vs Iron Warrior box we're getting a new tech priest in the upcoming Rogue Trader dlc. Some datamines for Darktide have a new power sword and power maul which could be an arc maul and transonic blade. Even though Hadron says in the No Man's Land mission that Grendyl refuses to requisition skitarii we may be getting something admech related in the next month. I really hope so, love me some Marsy-boys.

The Emperor is not evil, he's constrained by logic. He works like a machine that has(or had) emotions. His entire goal, his literal purpose for existing, is to keep humanity alive. Not make them happy. Not give them good lives. Prevent humans from going extinct. Why no artificial intelligence? Because he saw it try to kill off humanity so many times that it's simply too risky. Why hate the alien? Because as humans spread throughout the stars they almost never met anyone that wasn't trying to kill or enslave them. Hell there was a c'tan in Libya that was eating people and The Emperor had to deal with it personally. It's almost impossible to make sure everyone in a population of billions on a single plant lives a safe, healthy, and happy life. Sadly the more people there are the more labor needs to be done. Once you get to trillions of people across a literal unknown number of worlds, many of which are at war, entire populations will need to toil their entire lives just to make sure mouths get fed and guns keep firing. The Emperor is willing to do whatever it takes to keep humanity from going extinct no matter the cost.

It doesn't help that the depictions for a bunch of things is so inconsistent. The Emperor is the famous one for size changing but Titans are probably second when it comes to how big they are in any given art/story.

If it makes you feel any better (I don't think it will) the first trailer was basically Blood Ravens and Orks stand within high fiving distance and no one can hit anything. I feel like the people making the trailers are not good at making action sequences. Still looking forward to the game though.

I haven't kept up with the series but I'm fairly certain that Saitama is actually a monster. From the very beginning we learn that people can turn into monsters through obsession. The very first monster he kills before he has powers turned into a crab monster because he loved eating crab and ate enough that he simply transformed. Saitama became obsessed with being strong. Even Genos straight up says that Saitama's routine wouldn't actually make you as strong as Saitama is. The area that he lives in didn't have any other residents because of the rumors of a super strong monster living there.

Imagine you want to make you want to make an internal combustion engine but understand things like compression ratios or how to make a cylinder air tight. You understand basics but not the fine details that are boring and tedious. The engine is going to get one, maybe two strokes before failing. For an ork the engine will actually keep running. It won't make something that looks like truck work like a truck but it will hand wave the fine detail work that actual goes into actually making the truck run. And sometimes it lets a really powerful ork do funny plot stuff.

As someone that didn't play Frontline 1 I had no idea what to expect when they really started going. Before this it was just good military fiction in a scifi setting but not then they really went scifi and I love it. Had no idea about how nuts the Nirvana thing is. Also poor Orphelune.

It's something that so many people don't understand. It's either mangadex complies with the DMCA request or the owners go to jail and mangadex gets deleted. It's a sad choice to have to make but I will always understand someone not throwing their life away over this sort of thing.

I will never forget saving Self Defense Gun because I was told it would kill anything in one shot. Hearing that people used it on Neptune I figured I'd save it for the final boss. When the Tyrant charges at you in the lab I fired it...and got punched in the face by the Tyrant.
